Default Black Switchback Headlights with Dual Projectors

Just thought I'd post one of my latest builds...

Specs:

OEM HID headlights (mailed in by customer)
Switchback Angel Eyes
Switchback LED bulbs (black)
Satin Black Housings, Shrouds, and Corners
Bi-Xenon HID projector Retrofit w/ 5000K bulbs

I love these. They're so evil, and functional. The Angel Eyes are wired to a module so that they function the same way as the LED bulbs. They're white with the parking light, and during the blinker phase, the white shuts off while Amber flashes, then white resumes after the blinker is done. This is the Type 2 setup, versus Type 1 where a relay is used to simply bounce back and forth between white and amber.

The new projectors are both High and Low Beam HID, and have a nice sharp cut off line that lays just over the top of the fuzzy cut off line of the stock HID projector.

Awesome headlights. I like the angel eyes acting as blinkers as well! pretty nifty!

lol, you want my switches? Its a box I use to hook up to any type of headlight. Each wire is labeled with a pin to push into the connector so I can simulate the headlight running with all of the functions. Some wires use switches, some use push buttons, like the blinkers, or flashers.

This setup ran 785 plus shipping. Its cheaper when you send in your own lights. I threw in a set of the switchback modules which would normally run another 35 bucks, so it about 820, plus 70-80 for shipping each way. Shipping it back to MD was 83 bucks, insured for 1200.

I'll post the video of these up tonight as well. I have like 4 threads all needing video, and zero time to edit video, so I think me and a bunch of coffee are gonna get down to some video production tonight!

Those lights are pure secks....lol

So if these are the HID stock lights...once the build is complete and you ship back, is the install just a simple click back into the wiring harness or is there additional wiring required?

Also, what is price if you don't provide Headlights?

If you wanted to do this same build, but with clear corners on a brand new set, the price would increase by 390.00. The install back in the car is fairly straight forward, and the only thing that will need attention is the leveling of the lights.

Fly, what about those of us with 2012 GC's?
It seems that I have self leveling headlights if I sent my lights in to get dual projectors and all that will it affect my self leveling?

This is where I found out I have self leveling Hyundai Genesis Coupe Exterior
Reminds me of my mom's BMW 7 series when they self level

The year doesnt matter. The Xenon Headlights all have auto leveling. Its just a little motor that adjusts one of the bolts in the back, but its manually adjustable too. It makes no difference with or without it, nothing i do changes its function. So go for it brother!

Pardon the thread hijack, but holy crap, dude. Do you use air or ground shipping?

You may want to evaluate using Fedex Ground / Fedex Home Delivery (they tend to be a smidge cheaper than UPS) and a third-party insurance service. Here's someone who wrote about third-party shipping insurance:
Shipping Secrets: Third Party Insurance

Just throwing it out there. Hopefully it saves you a little money in the future.
