What is the $130 solution?
Because this thread spans a year, and goes in several directions, I'm having difficulty in tracking it.
There's no way I can carve out the vents and have it look like anything but a 3-year old's attempt. I'd be delighted to have someone supply the finished product.

Importshark, unfortunately that involves spending money at Importshark and the vent quality, at least the ones I had, is terrible. I haven't seen the V2 vents in person but from feedback I've seen they are only slightly better.

Importshark's excuse for the poor quality of their fiberglass vents was always that no one would pay for high quality pieces but that's horseshit, I'd gladly pay for top quality PU open vents if someone made them.

Someday i will make stuff..... Was just notified a few weeks ago that both of my glow forges are delayed yet again.... Until this july!!!!!! Unbelievable, 2 year delay after purchase.... But whatever, i am getting a pretty cool high detail 3d printer in the next month or so with engineering materials capabilties (rubber and 500+ degree resins). So will have all kinds of cool stuff to share in the next few months .

Aha; the infamous Import Shark.
I can wait to see if his reincarnation brings a better reputation, or wait to see what Superchode comes up with.

Haha dont wait on me, i had a girlfriend do that once in high school..... Shes still at the bus stop but ya not many options. I say do it yourself, and maybe buy a spare oem set on the side. Atleast you learn something along the way whether or not they come out perfect or not. I can tell you the oem set that was on my car was starting to look pretty bad like faded and chipped and it stood out on the black paint of the hood. Could i have just painted them? Sure.... But i would have had to take the liner out and removed them anyway which is 1/3 of the job. Or you can take the plunge and see what that vendor whos name rhymes with "spark" comes up with......

And trust me once i get the equipment i need to do some stuff, this forum will be the first to know.... Problem is everyone will probly have sold thier cars by then lolz
