Just wanted to share with you guys some prototype pulleys we are helping to get out there for the 3.8 market. Non Stop Tuning is easily the most recognized pulley manufacturer in the Scion Community and every platform they have ventured into.

Here are a couple of pics of the prototype pulleys. Again this are prototypes and will not reflect the actual design of the finished product. We have the Crank Pulley installed right now and it has the inherent characteristics of a lighter pulley. The engine revs more freely, acceleration is much smoother and i even noticed a slight increase in gas mileage. The one thing that did surprise me though is most aftermarket pulleys create slight engine vibration especially during idle. With this pulley NON WHATSOEVER!

Just got word that the prototype pulleys for the water pump and alternator will be done in about 15 days so once we check if fitment is spot on. Non Stop Tuning will start mass producing these suckers and they have informed me that pricing will be much better than what is currently out on the market

Purple is what i requested for my car. (it's a prototype so i could request different colors) The normal colors they have are a dark gray and red

Same here which is why when I contacted them and found out they were interested in making kits for us i jumped all over it

Yes you can purchase them in a set or individually

The only thing i can guarantee is that there pricing will definitely be better than anything that is currently out on the market right now. If their pricing is going to be anything like their other stuff i'd say the price for the waterpump & alternator pulley that SFR is selling, is what the entire NST kit (crank, alternator, waterpump) would cost.

The items should be arriving sometime this week at NST's headquarters. They wanted to modify the waterpump pulley. So once that is done they will ship that back out to us and once we test fit it and give them the thumbs up they will start mass producing these so we are in the same boat as you brother..just waiting for updates. It's about time a reputable company stepped up to help out on the pulley side so we are super excited to see what they come up with

I've been reading on some other threads that having a light weight pulley helped out with grind/shifting issues due to the engine being able to come down in revs faster. Very interesting.

You won't be disappointed. Not only are they precise in their craftsmanship but these pulleys are meant to last. They are hard anodized so that their color will not fade. Their pulleys are used on their very own AE86 drift car and are on several race cars.

Do you know if we will have the option of custom colors? Or are we stuck with Red and Grey?
