I have a 2012 2.0t 6speed. On my second trans because the first one would get stuck coming out of 5th gear. Still I have to say that both transmissions I have had have been the worst feeling that I have ever driven. 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd is clunky and notchy and really noisy. Also what I think are the motor mounts making noise every time I shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd am when I press the clutch at slower speeds I hear a thump thump thump.

Love everything else about the car aside from the above, but I may sell it soon due to how much the transmission annoys me. I always have the music loud so I don't hear all the ruckus going on.

Im worried to even mod the car only to develop another trans problem and get denied a warranty claim due to the mods.

Anyone else feel the same way?

With that being said, there are ways to help the issue with better transmission fluids, aftermarket mounts, etc. Just up to you whether you want to go that route or not.
