Overall Impression - Went to three different dealers trying to find an R-Spec. Finally found a black one at Freeman Hyundai. Overall, the sale went pretty smoothly, they threw in the ipod cable for free, free oil changes, detail, blah blah blah. However, the service department was lacking in knowledge of the car. They told me that they've never even worked on a Genny before (regarding changing out the transmission fluid) -_-;; I had to go to a third-party shop just to perform the tsb for tranny oil.

I would definitely buy from this Dealership again. Told him what I wanted and named a price. He was a little reluctant at first... but when he ran my credit report and saw that I was Active Duty Military, he shook my hand and said "OK". My brother also bought a car from them when he first joined the Military. He was 18 with absolutely NO CREDIT. They worked with the banks until they got him a fair deal, and he was able to walk out with a new car.

Overall Impression - The fact that Duncan speak the same language as I do is a plus. And that a deal with 2 cars (another Sonata for my mom) helped with the negotiation. Duncan was courteous and honest with all aspects of the sale, and put all costs/fees up front when laying out the price before negotiation. The dealer put up a good fight but Duncan was willing to help to the last round of offer war, even when one of the round was marked "Final". I felt that he was on my side throughout the negotiation process. When "deal was sealed", the table turned over to a finance consultant/officer named Martin who was very organized and explained every "dealer option" available (eg. insurance pkg, protection pkg, etc) while ensuring us that choice was mine to make. When choice had been made, he spent time to go over all the items arriving to the final price and term payment, not hiding anything to make the process convoluted. Overall impression was great with this honest dealer, and will recommend to friends and family.

Overall Impression- I love the deal i got. some guy is trying to sell his same package with 20k km for $27k, ouch but its good to be in the know). Dealership is decent but they tried to send me a $500 referral chq and they say its already been cashed. i saw the chq stub so it seems like they aren't screwing me around but we'll see. Anyways back to the deal, I had a deal with Southtown hyundai but they said there was no rebate with smart financing so they couldnt give me that price. I told the GM i just talked to Hyundai canada and they confirmed twice that there is. So after the GM lied to me i called Sherwood park and they beat southtown's price by $300. Also southtown only had grey and im very happy i went with black. Even tho they are giving me the run around with the referral chq i would buy there again.

bought it from southwest hyundai on i20 and hampton.
salesman was super pleasant. name was Dan. Let me and my father testdrive the vehicle without being in it.
I know i could have gotten a lower price i suppose but i HAD to have Kwhite, and there was only two in the area. We went to this dealership and this was the vehicle on the showroom floor. after 2 hours of chit chat idle time, math, we took the price from their "27" to the internet price of 24.5. ..---> 23.4 +TTL.

No pressure at all, seems like a "in the ghetto" dealer compared to what I am used to. No coffee machines, manual water tanks, outdated pc peripherals. They pretty much let us decide without intervening or anything of the sort.
I would buy from this dealership again if I wanted another hyundai.

• Overall Impression - Donny is a really cool guy and really knows his stuff. He is calm, patient, understanding, and very helpful. He understands that when a person spends $30k+ on a car, it takes time to decide which specific car is the best deal. I would recommend him any day of the week. He is still a salesperson at the end of the day so we had to do plenty of negotiation to get the price down to this, but at no point did he get exasperated with us or get upset. With a little bit of haggling, you can get the price you want.
