Default Intercooler teaser pics!

Things are moving along here at Beyond Redline with Genesis coupe product developments. Next in line is the intercooler situation. We all know the stock cooler left a lot of be desired and would become a huge restriction once power levels were increased.

We started out with a proven intercooler core we have been using in custom applications for the past year. Its 28W x 8H x 3.5D. Because of the size limitations in the front of the car this is as big as you can go without making structural modifications. We have utilized this core in numerous applications with HP levels north of 500WHP.

Just a few notes regarding the core selection….Growing very tired of cheap Chinese knock-offs we embarked on a journey last to find a better alternative. We partnered with an OEM supplier to develop this core design to have the maximum flow with the least amount of pressure drop and to optimize it for small displacement engines. After a few revisions we have determined that this is the absolute best combination available. Through real world dyno testing we found our core to provide over 20WHP gains over competitors products. Additionally it recovered quicker from heat making more repeatable and reliable results.

Check out the below photos....of course there will be dyno results up as soon as we have them!

That makes the front of the car look like it should have from the factory!

looks great.

any thoughts on removing the 'grid' between the fogs?

it would probably make the lower part of the bumper sag

Nope, everything is kept in tact for oem safety equipment. Its a snug fit but with the proper bracketing it should stay put and not require any major modifications.

We can get a bigger "race core" to fit, but it will require removing the factory crash beam.

Wow this is great I really want one lol. How much modifications are needed? Possible price and time when this will be out?
If/when I get a new cooler I'm thinking I might paint it black to keep a stealthy look lol.

Bar and plate, and no its not a griffen core. We spent considerable time developing this core with respect to fin density and fin spacing in conjunction with an oem supplier for Ford to gain the most optimized design possible. This was all done on another type of car, but I have no reason to doubt that it won't transfer to the genesis just as well.

Nice! Now it's time to open up those little side things in the bumper to get even more air to the intercooler!
