You missed a couple things on your lists.
Italyn got it right when he mentioned that there was no indication of headers on the 326 wheel car. I don't think tune was mentioned either.
Intake, exhaust and cams.

As for the 2.0, all prices are based on similar items found online and are MY guesses and estimates only, Beyond Redline had NO input on prices.

Prototype GT3076 Turbo Kit $1500?
Prototype Intercooler Kit $500-700?
Prototype Primary Cat Delete Pipe (PCDP) $200?
Prototype Down Pipe $300-500?
Prototype Secondary Cat Delete Pipe (SCDP) $200?
Beyond Redline 600cc Injector Upgrade Kit $300?
AEM Fuel Ignition Controller (FIC) $300

$3300 even going by the lower prices I could find, plus install and tuning time.

It's cool that the 2.0 is making power, but it's not making it as easily and cheaply as everyone seems to think. Right now, comparing the two is apples to oranges because we do not have full documentation or details on what has been done with the Korean cars and no one in North America is tuning the 3.8 yet, which is very unfortunate.

Do you think there is any potential to get full spool closer to 3k?

Not sure at 1/4 mile times yet, but I would anticipate 12 something...I think the DBW will be the biggest issue.
cant wait.. hopefully Blitz will make a Gen specific Throttle controller soon.

this $300 piece of laptop hdd size made a real night and day difference on my friends s/c'd Civic Si 2dr

I just hope we dont find out too early about the stock rear end tho

Absolutely. Just change the exhaust housing. we kinda used a big exhaust housing for the power we are currently at, but we have only had this car now 10 days. I think if we were to try a diff exhaust housing and maybe reprogrammed the CVVT that spool is realistic.

Other wise put a 2860 on it and be happy with the power and instant spool damn near....well not as fast as stock, but probably not too far off. I would think a 2860 would support the same power as where we are at with the 3076. The 3076 just gives us room to grow.

Although if we could rev this thing higher and reprogram the DBW, the car would always be in boost with the 3076 if you drove it in the right rpm range

We just have to be easy on it for now Although I think the stock clutch will fail before the rear diff, unless I did something really stupid like a few clutch kicks or something.

One last teaser before I get some sleep

Here are some pics of the prototype cat-back exhaust system on the car with the tips. Speaking for everyone here....we couldn't be any happier with how things turned out I'll have a video clip tomorrow so you can hear how amazing this sounds.....

Goodnight!

I would absolutely love if you guys would actually Sell Gennys with a turbo upgrade package... like Buschur did with an Evo dealer for the Evo 9's which made somewhere around 360hp.... sort of like our US version of the FQ350.

I'd definitely buy that for $2......6000

Wow, those are some awesome results guys! This has pretty much set my mind on getting a 2.0t this summer, and I'll very likely be contacting you about that exhaust.

You seem to forget that after all those upgrades there is something called a boost controller and preset maps. You can turn it up to add more HP. Its magic..... On the 3.8 you cant just push a button and up your HP...... Especially if the limits of the motor are at around 400whp.... Most will be running a conservative tune of around 300whp for daily driving(or less) then at the touch of a button the bitch slap mode is turned on 400whp....

Not really trying to be for or against what "Zguy" stated but I had a friend with a 1.8 turbo Jetta back in 2004 that could use his cruise control to switch through different ECU settings and levels of tune...
Valet Mode (restrictions)
Daily Driving Mode (maximum mpg)
Race Mode (maximum power)

I think the market for the genesis would love something like that! I'm not sure if that is possible though for our setup or just VW specific.

Was it an APR unit? I know Audi A3 guys can do that too. You just have to make sure you have high octane gas in the tank....or BOOM

That'd be awesome if possible. Bog it down to no performance at all when you drop it off somewhere :P

You know honestly i'm not sure, I'm not even sure if it was a piggyback or a complete ECU replacement / reflash. Wish i had more info, i'm just going by memory.

I know when he dropped it off at the Valet it would only do X amount of RPM and X amount of top speed. I think it was limited to something like 45 mph.
