Your statements simply prove my point even more. Some people want to pay for others to do the work for them, or in other words, lack the knowledge, skill, and/or money to do it themselves.

I've been down the N/A route before, won't do it again. Too much money for too little gains.
afraid to mod a car? no, i just think it is silly to put a lot of money into a consistently depreciating investment. if i chose to invest my time/money into it i would have the skill or knowledge, we all just have different hobbies. frankly i'd prefer to be out driving my genesis than buried until the hood in a garage!

Stop it with this independent thinking, everyday driver stuff. Your resistance to the absolute logic of modding a 2.0 threatens to make this website implode.

Well you're going confuse the hell out of a few gearhead, entry level GC owners anyway. Best just to agree with them now and avoid another 4 pages of redundant rhetoric.

A few hours under the hood for a day can improve every drive you have for as long as you own the car. Just sayin' .

The 2.0T is for people that want to dump more money into it for the mods. I'd rather pay a bit more to boot for the V6 and have the power there to begin with, then do simple stuff like an ECU tune to get the most that I can with the stock setup.

Why is an STD synonymous with a girl liking fast cars? Every one of my girlfriends have liked my fast cars, and here I am STD free.

Just a couple nights ago, I took out a base 3.8v6 and a 2.0L GT, which is the same as the Track model from my understanding. Both were manuals. If you are not limited by budget, I'd go with the 3.8. The power aspect has already been discussed, but the 3.8 had some nicer features that the 2.0L did not. Power seats, bluetooth, full leather seats vs leather/cloth.

EDIT - I see that you went with the 2.0L Track...that would be my choice as well, as the 3.8 is more than I can budget for at the moment. Can always reflash later to get some more go-go

After test driving the 3.8, although a blast to drive... I made the decision to purchase my 2.0t premium model because of its potential. At the same time I wanted to finance while keeping my monthly payments under $400/month, so the 2.0t gave me affordable speed.
However, my girlfriend just purchased the 3.8 last month and is expected delivery by mid April.

I test drove it for the first time today at Fitzgerald Hyundai, but all they had was a 2.0T base Auto and a 3.8 GT M/T.

Any thoughts/ input would be greatly appreciated.

(Also trying to decide between White or Red for the color)

Edit: Probably would be getting either 2.0/ 3.8 Track package. (Which I haven't been able to test-drive yet)
I've driven both, the 2.0T and 3.8. BY FAR the 3.8 is the way to go ~50% more HP than the 4 cylinder, and it shows. The 2.0 is great for people who want a car that looks fast, but if you actually want a fast car, get the 3.8. It's well worth the 4-5k price difference.

I'll be getting the 3.8 Track w/Navigation in the not so distant future.

Edit: if you're one of those people who likes to dump $10k worth of upgrades into your car, then the 2.0 might be the way to go, as there's a huge market for parts / upgrades for 4 cylinder turbos. However, if you plan to drive the car as is, I still say get the 3.8.
