even a tiburon v6 is faster than those numbers look:
so is no way those numbers can be real if they real then the gen coupe will be a total dissappoinment

You are forgetting gearing. My car gets to 60 in 3.4 seconds, faster than a Porsche 911 GT2, and yet the GT2 clocks the quarter in 11.7, as opposed to my 11.9.

Point is, the IS250 is probably geared a bit differently than the Genesis Coupe.

That's why BMW 330's were always quick; the rear end gears were always short.

True, but 3+ seconds is a lot to lose to gearing, unless it's geared like a tree. This is especially true when you take into consideration that I don't think Hyundai has used gearing THAT slow in anything, at least recently. And 2, this car is aimed at tuners and enthusiasts, gearing like that would be a huge case of suicide... And 3... Hyundai has been saying since the first spy shots forced them to say anything at all that this will do the 0-60 in 6.5 or less.

It is a lot more likely that the numbers quoted are innaccurate, at least by a little bit
