Default New user and member Introductions

Didn't see a user intro page so I'll just do it here before I start spouting off in the forums.

Just look'n forward to helping grow the Genesis Community and helping the Genesis cars be the next big thing in the automotive tuner world. Kinda getting tired of the Honda/SRT-4 that I've been around.

Oh ya, a little bit about myself... I'm from around Seattle Washington. Love cars, anything electronic, and my family.

Justin here.
I drive a 04 Tib that was my baby for the first couple years, but I'm starting to tire of her. I'll also be getting the Gen as soon as it comes out.

Btw, cant_stop_spinning. I miss my old Enduro bike (89 KDX 200). Hairscrambles ain't no joke.

I also love dogs and long walks on the beach...

Ya I'm look'n to get the 2.0l as well. I like the lower curb weight and although it doesn't make as much power that the v6 does or the other World engines, i just love anything turbocharged. Call me a sucker. I'm curious to see how the car will handle and perform on the autocross coarse and drag strip.

I live in san diego, CA

I drive an Dinan E36 BMW, his name is Tubbs.

Before that, I drove an SVT Focus, my baby...which was totaled by a stupid woman on the freeway

I am an Illustrator and Apparel designer

I am looking forward to the 2.0L turbo, mainly because all my cars have been N/A, and turbos seem like a lot of fun.

I almost bought an SVT focus instead of the tiburon. In the end I went for the slower, more stylish ride. I am now wishing I had picked up a beater, and stuck the other 15 thousand in the bank to save for the genesis coupe instead.

Man you would have not regretted any second owning an SVTF. Such an underrated car, mostly because of it's lower HP rating compared to the SRT4, Speed3, and Civic Si. But the car rides on rails like nothing else. I still miss the tightness of it to this day.

Well hopefully when you get your Genesis Coupe you won't miss it anymore.

You're probably the only Titan owner on Earth who drives a Dodge Omni as a daily commuter. Gotta say, that's pretty funny.

Hey, found this forum, love all of the pre-release photos you guys have collected and posted. Current car is an '04 Elantra, just shy of 100k mi, and still running great. Can't wait to get myself a 2.0t gen coupe. Looks great on paper, should be great if the sedan is any indication!

Haha, well, I won't be getting one at launch like most of you guys plan to. I'm gonna wait a few months until I graduate college so I'll have a nice down payment for it and it won't have to get banged up in the college parking lot.

Well with gas prices going up and the idiots on the road these days, the Omni aka Redneck Terror , scares people away from me cuz it looks like I dont have any insurance, while at the same time averaging about 30mph. And it handles like its on rails to boot!

The Titan is driven mainly on weekends and cruises with the family.

I hear ya. I am a previous 03 Tib owner. Now own a 2002 Jetta GLI, about 35mpg if I'm just puttin' around. Also got a bike now, 2008 Yamaha VStar 1100 Custom, about 55mpg. I have only drove my car about 2 times in the past 2 weeks. I've been on the bike a lot with the nice weather we've had after those dang hurricanes finally cleared up.
