I didn't see "automatic not available" for the 3.8 track version. So I assume I can get auto with that?

Hyundai gave the aftermarket time to play with the cars back in July so they could start developing products for it.

If they maintain that they built the car to be tuner-friendly, then I don't we'll be lacking for any upgrade options.

"John Krafcik, Hyundai’s VP of Product Development and Strategic Planning in the U.S. has said, “We’ve designed the Genesis Coupe from the start to be tuner friendly.”"

Considering the 3.8 comes with the 6-sp Auto with paddles, it fits the "track" image. I'd say it's a safe assumption that the 3.8 Track will be available on the lot with the auto.

I'll be getting the Nordschleife Gray 3.8 track with the manual, myself. Not sure if I'll have the will power to wait for the navi or not.

Here's a copy of the information in a PDF document. bulleted, bookmarked, and edited a bit to make it easier to read.

Can anyone figure why our spotted times in korea were 6.5 and 6ish for the v6. i believe all times came from autos, but can an auto to manual really make up 8/10ths. extremly glad to see the lose of weight. maybe two shifts are needed for the 60 and the irs isn't helping down the straights (b/c its for the corners obviously).

i think the navi will replace the entire lcd display area and top storage bin. replace the whole squared area with a deep larger lcd navi (think G35) problem is that use may be hard due to the limited space i dont think they have room for an info knob to access the navi...

i want the 3.8 touring, but i want the 19 inch wheels. i hope they offer that as an option. to be honest i could live with out the track tuned suspension. i prefer a smoother ride. would like the brembo brakes, but i could live without those too. they have to know people are going to want the 19 in wheels.

since we know thw camaro LS is going to start off at 22,995. would be nice to get a 3.8 for 21,995 or even 22,495. so hyundai could keep its claim as the cheapest 300HP RWD to buy. I know probably wont be possible, but think about it, to get a 3.8 for 22k, they would fly off the lots. all that power for so cheap. standard leather and climate control. it would be a steal at 22k. I hope they can keep that claim.

they can keep the claim if you compare the base trim of genesis and camaro with options to get it at least close..

I agree, after looking at it, like my previous post about this said, they very well might do what Cadillac did with the CTS Nav screen. When the Nav isn't in use, it looks like the basic LCD screens, but then push a button and the screen motors up an inch or two, turning it into a full 7" touch screen Nav.

The only problem that I am seeing with this, is that Hyundai will most likely want to use the Nav system that they have already developed (and why wouldn't they?), but that system also includes audio controls within the touch screen.

Because the system that they already have for the Sonata and Veracruz don't use info knobs, I don't think that the Genesis Coupe will get one either. The only reason that the Genesis Sedan has the info knob is to access other features, and to compete with BMW's iDrive, Audi's MMI, and Mercedes' Command systems.

anyway, that wheel gap is bothering me
does it cost a lot to lower a bit? any warranty complication?

Just remember that this is a Korean spec car. It has softer suspension than the base suspension of the US Spec, so it is going to ride a bit higher. You can probably expect a qtr to half an inch lower on the US spec depending on whether you go for base or track ed... Maybe even more, who knows
