Wheel issue

I recently bought a 3.8 coupe. It has stock everything, but I just noticed something that caught my eyes. I noticed that the driver's front has an F next to valve stem and the other three have r next to the stem. My guess is that the r signifies that the rim is a rear wheel. Unfortunately, the lugnuts are so tight can't even get them to move with all my weight on the wrench to take one off to verify the markings on the back. Can someone please confirm this for me?
It should be noted that the tire on the passenger front wheel has correct front fitment

That is what I thought. Are there any issues that could come from having that one rear wheel on the front? I know that the rear wheel is slightly wider than the front wheel.

bought it at drivetime in Houston. I don't blame them. Not everyone is familiar with gen coupe fitment, so they probably didn't catch the difference. Although, Carfax/Autocheck doesn't report any major accidents, it is apparent to me that some sort of bodywork has been done to the vehicle at some point in its life. And, apparently, that included replacement of that wheel, hence the wrong wheel ending up there. It doesn't appear to be too obvious since I didn't catch it right away. ha

Well i would start there and just show them the manual in the car and see if they will get it right. I wouldnt feel comfortable driving too long with the wrong wheel on there. If the tire is correct sizes front and rear may be ok, but its not right. The other thing is if you cant break those lugs loose, you could have major issues with stressed wheels studs. If they impacted those things on at like pretty much anything over 90 lbs (sounds like allot more). Good luck

The only difference is the width. It would be a good idea to have a matched set on each axle.

What size are all the tires?

the wheel is the only difference in the front. The tires all match spec front and rear

I would insist they provide the correct wheel, it might not actualy cause a problem but having two diffrent sized wheels on the same end of the car long term just sounds like a really bad idea, it would really suck if it caused the traction, stability,or ABS control to engage at the wrong time and possibly cause a accident.

hey there gents. I had a rear wheel on the front with a front tire and it caused the steering wheel to shake like rotors were warped. I have a set of '13 rspec rims for sale if you need or want a set. PM me.
