My only complaint is the curb weight. The power to weight ratio is not good. ^^ but undoubtedly a blast to drive

There was two error in the powerpoint... Can anyone find them ?

Anyways thanks John for posting, its easier to view the comparisons this way. I still like the fact that Hyundai allows the car to run with 87 octane as well as 91. They tested both ratings.

Running 87 octane will help for commuting, and especially with he way gas prices are rising!

I have to agree with you. I did talk with the product planners today... They are considering many things. One of them might be a car as a blank slate. What I mean by that is a vehicle that is primered and pretty bare in terms of what it has on it.

I asked them what a lot of the weight is attributed to and they said the options. Such as the airbags and safety. Hyundais overall goal as a company is to have safe cars

Keep in mind the car is still 11 months away from being in showrooms, so a lot can change and happen. Don't think the weight will change so much though. But a tuner version that is stripped would be awesome!

Don't get me wrong. I'm all about safety. I'd rather have a safe car that is heavy, than a light car I'd die in. 11 months away gives me enough time to save up money and pay cash for the 6 though ^^

Does Hyundai have pricing on the options for the coupe yet? Like the LSD and Brembo upgrade.

The exact pricing hasn't been set, but judging by the competition, that means this 310-hp two-door should sticker around $26,000.

The big question is ...price includes loaded options on the SE-V6 ?

Not that I doubt it, but the 24% stiffer rigidity is a very interesting claim.

I'm going with 7.3 to 60, 15.4 through the quarter mile.

Just out of curiosity, was there any reason why the v8 for the sedan wasn't an option?

Interesting observation indeed. You might also notice the headlight isn't from the Genesis Coupe.

Wow, you are right. Both the key and headlight shown are from a Mercedes (headlight being E Class).

Good call on the E-class identification. I knew it was familiar I just couldn't place it immediately.

I just want to note that that even though those pictures aren't of Gen Coupe parts I think they were used more for reference just to show an example picture of the things listed to the right.

I agree fully, they may not be the identical items, but it give people a feel for what kind of things they could expect from the Genesis Coupe.

Brandon is right this was just a quick presentation given by Hyundai for a few select press awhile back. The reason we posted it was it gave you a good general idea of the data behind the car. I wouldn't really look too much into it or pick it a part that much as it was given to us in April 2008 and quite a few things could have changed

^that's what I suspected. It's good to finally find some solid info on the car though. I found this place today and I imagine I'll be staying a good while
