Is this just simple plug and play as well? Ie. remove stock screen, connect new unit and secure? Will all normal display still display, as well as BT work and steering wheel controls? What else will this unit do?

It has atleast on set of inputs for a backup camera or dvdplayer in the glovebox etc. It will also be able to read the engine parameters ie: boost, intake temp, rpms, etc. With the addition of the PowerAxel VID unit. (see link) I dont remember what the whole list consists of. Yes bluetooth will still work.

PowerAXEL VID display unit

Also Rotora makes an aftermarket cruise control, they sell it at lancer shop .com it like $400.

I hope with the price of navi plus having someone install it is cheaper than the stock navigation system.

Yes it is a full LCD tv. The screen will be like most modern indash tv screens.
