Problems with Ipod audio?

Plugged in my ipod today, turned on the music and as the track was playing, the music had no one singing/voices playing in the background, but rather a instrumental of the entire song. I've tried playing different songs, plugging the cable in/out, but nothing seems to work.

I've been using a separate cable (Not Hyundai's Ipod Cable) for the last year and Its been working fine up till now. I've even went out and bought a new cable, but the problem still exists.

Could this be a bug or a problem I may need to ask the dealer to look into?

It's the connection of the ipod jack. It's worn out. A new Ipod is in order. Nothing else would cause that.

I don't use the Hyundai Cable. I've been using a Belkin cable for the past year, but it just suddenly started acting up on me. I guess I'll go to the dealer then.

Sorry I can't help you. I thought for sure it was the ipod connection. My wife had the same problem with hers and our car.

I don't have same car as gen coupe, but I think Apple need to step up with
software update for ipod, iphone when it come to car audio.

I am running a similar problem with playing mp3 with my iPhone on Apline aftermarket player. It goes like this, iphone is connected to wire that usb male connector into female connector which is usb, then the wire that connect to the back of the Apline. It kept cutting off the song when I tried to play.

I gave up and start using usb flash drive.

Did you get your issue resolved yet?

Yeah its really strange. I did get it fixed though, found out it was a defective audio jack. Dealership replaced it for me under warranty!
