Here is the wiring for the base stereo. I needed to know which plug did what but I couldn't find it through search and had to hit up the PDF to find it. This is in jpeg format so anyone can use it.

I really needed to know what connector B had on it so I could run a line out converter but I've decided it would probably be easier and cleaner to tap into the rear speakers directly. But I've seen other people ask for this diagram and I just thought I'd toss it up there after finding it just to help others out.

I haven't actually done this install yet. I'm still debating the cleanest install route.

For an amp?

I believe you only need a lineout converter, if you have the factory amp.

Yes for an amp. I only have the base stereo so I don't actually have an amp in that side panel. I'm just trying to figure out the best place to wire the line out converter in. Whether its easier to do it from the stereo or from the rear speakers.

socalx, can you post the diagram for the Infinity / Nav head unit? Where did you find this? I have done hours of searching and cannot find information on the outputs to the Infinity amp. If you can, could you also post the diagram for the Infinity amp? I'm planning a high end system that utilizes the OEM head but everything down stream will be much better.

I'll get these posted up when I get to a PC tomorrow. I'm using my phone to update right now. I do have them so it will be easy to post for you. I got them off the HMA website. I have the link on my PC, I can give that to you as well. It took me a bit to find them so I know it can be difficult to get these if you don't know where to look.

It will probably be in the morning sometime around 10 am when I will upload them.

that radio antenna only makes my amp turn on for the radio only. When I play cds or usb/ipod it shuts off. I even tested it with a positive/negative test light. Should I just connect the remote cable to the ACC?

Here is where you would probably want to hook into if you are doing something magical with your system. This is the amp diagram that in the panel on the rear right passenger seat. Also, I think this is what DESprinter is looking for?



And as for wiring up the amp turn on wire for you Sthetic, I used a piggy back in other cars. They are just like this one ...

You pull the fuse from the Radio in the panel to the left of your steering wheel. Then place the circuit kit in there and crimp the amp turn on wire to it. Add the fuses back in. It should tell the amp to power up whenever the radio is on. If that doesn't work, I think the IGN fuse is in there also you can try that. I haven't pulled the panel yet to see which fuse I'm going to use but it's usually one of those.

Thanks socalx, its now clear how the OEM system is wired. Also appreciate you turning me on the the HMA site. Now I just need to figure out why none of the pages will display no matter what browser I use.

Just realized today that the Circuit Kit I linked is the wrong one for our car. We have the mini fuses, that is for regular ones.

socalx, I've been trying to get into the Hyundai site, but it won't display pictures for some reason. Tried several browsers and have Adobe. Does the site specify the output voltage of the head unit speaker leads (voltage input to the JBL / Infinity amp)? If this is basically line-level preamp that would be great. Thanks.

It does in one of the diagrams I think. Are you saying you have Adobe Reader? If you can't get it to display properly you probably need to install SVG viewer from Adobe - SVG - Manual Download and the Macromedia Flash player.

The only way I could get them to view is if I opened Internet Explorer (I know the junk browser) and went to install the SVG viewer and Flash while it was open. They will force you to close it. After they close and install, I was able to view.

Here are all the information I could get on wiring though if you still have trouble with the site.

















Right click those, and save as to help you read them better.
