Removing Armrest/Console lid??

Picked up a nice leather cover and want to put it on obviously. Removed the 4 screws under the lid, but that doesn't seem to be all I need to do. Anyone else have experience removing the top cover?

Those instructions are great, I was wondering about that.

Can you post some pics of the cover when installed?

I would, but I didn't realize I would have to remove the fake leather cover on it to install. Not really looking to do that, so I either have to get another lid to modify, or just skip it. Shame too, this leather cover is really excellent quality. I got it on ebay. I was looking for a little bit more padding as well as looks by installing this, removing the existing cover kills the extra padding part.

Why do you have to remove the old cover? When mine was reupholstered the original one was left under it.

The cover was cut to length for the cover being off of it apparently.
