LOL I know huh~ I swear we take the weather here for granted and damn spoiled too. Below 50 degrees we'd be shivering our *** off!
Hey everyone, I wasn't able to get on board over the weekend but I have PM'ed all who couldn't get hold of me due to my inbox being full..again~ I know I haven't updated the front page, but here's the scoop: -ETA has been postponed to March (2 months since January) so if they delay it again, I promise I will do everything in my power to make it happen. Darn it, did I just make a promise with you guys? Biggest mistake..bits me |

Dave daves question should be answered.
but mostly likely you can listen to music or w/e while you're using the nav it'll probably pause and tell you when to turn then resume playback again my friends custom nav/ headunit does that. |

Hey Dave Dave check on the reflash, don't have it myself but it'll fix it. I went the bov route that completly cleared it up for me. Pa tune totally eliminated it and added nice gains on top of that. First two things you might wanna look into tune with priority of course.

Hey guys. This is the first time I came across this thread for some odd reason. I've tried skimming through some of the pages but there are ALOT of them. I just want to get some clarity on a couple of things.
First of all, this thing looks AWESOME! I have a 2.0 Base model. Would this work in my car? I know I saw alot of stuff on the automatic climate control (which my car doesn't have). Would this be a problem? I really like the Navigation but what really interests me is the different readouts you can get (boost, etc). Exactly what could be displayed on the screen? Sorry guys if this is common knowledge on this thread, it's just hard to sift through 21 pages. Thanks guys. If this thing can display the different guages and replace the blue screen that is already in this spot in my car (while preserving the functionality), you have my order.

It does everything you stated, and retains all functionality. As for the gauges you can refer to that as the vid unit(not yet available, working on it, so no deatails yet) here on out in order to refrain from further confusion. It will replace your blue screen, along with the outer surround. As for having a base model, this nav unit was most likely designed with the most basic of models in mind. So you're good to go.
