Thanks again guys, I'm glad you like my work. Always feels good to hear

Pricewise, if you had sent these in to be worked on and got all the same mods, I made a breakdown below. Its crazy, these builds can be enormous, but look at my labor prices. They really dont get any higher than this unless you go balls to the wall with parts. I had a guy pay for a setup with 26 electrical connections the other day. That's 130 bucks, not to mention the cost of the 4 parts per headlight that each have 3 wires that have to be hooked up, not to mention others that I have to drill holes, cut the wires, run them through the holes, then resolder back together and I dont charge for that, since its part of "mounting parts" which is included in the Flat Rate labor charge. As far as paint, I pay someone to do the paint for me professionally so that the finish is better than I could do myself, and it saves me time and mess. I used to do everything, and was just too busy setting up paint stuff, and redoing bad paint jobs, running parts to the sandblaster, etc. and it wasn't worth the few bucks I made. So figure after I pay my painter I pretty much have enough to pay for the gas I used driving him all the stuff and picking it up. I wish I was getting rich off these huge build costs, but its mainly keeping my suppliers happy, and my painter, and putting a modest amount in my pocket. If I was better about timing and organizing everything, I'd be making lots more.

Labor and Paint

150 - Flat Rate
100 - Retrofit
110 - OEM Painted Bezel
20 - OEM Painted Reflectors
40 - Satin Black Shrouds (stock and gattling gun)
60 - Internal Wiring Connections (at $5.00 per wiring connection x12)

Parts

120 - Morimoto Mini H1 Bi-Xenon Projectors w/ shrouds
80 - 5000K H1 HID kit (bulbs and ballasts
155 - RGB Angel Eyes x4
25 - RGB Wiring harness
25 - Relay Wiring Harness for Retrofit Projectors
50 - RF (wireless, not infrared) RGB Control box w/ Remote Control integrated into Harness
145 - 2 way Inner LED Modules
205 - 2 way Audi Strip

1285 Total + shipping both ways.

Just added the video to my channel. Take a look and let me know what you think! Its super long, and basically shows the same functions over and over for almost 10 minutes, lol.

Thanks you guys!

Here's some new images I should have posted up originally. I'm also putting up a new thread on the RGB LED work that's available, but I'll put the pics of the harness used for this build here too. Here's some better shots of them off.

Now the Wiring Harness. You can see the blue wire here with the pink connector. That is the power wire from the ballast connector, which is plugged into the wiring harness.

The wires shown here are the two plugs for the HID bulb (weird little plunger things), with the RGB wires from the angel eyes that hook up to the harness.

The whole harness. This runs 100 bucks for an RGB and Dual Projector setup. Or it runs just 25 for the dual projector harness that includes the relay that mounts at the passenger headlight, a fused wire that goes to the battery, and the power wire that goes to the drivers side headlight. On this setup, it also integrates the the control box for the RGB receiver, and the 4 RGB wires that go from passenger to drivers side headlight.

The control box and remote are an option to be integrated into the same wiring harness as the projectors.

This pic is kinda self explanatory. I like flash Push a button, and the angel eyes respond instantly, with really good range as well!

This little guy is the relay that makes all the magic happen. Read below for the explanation of how it does that. The metal tab on this is not for ground or anything, its just used to mount the relay using a bolt, a zip tie, bubble gum, etc.

These three wires are actually pretty cool. The white wire is the trigger for the relay. It is plugged into the wire in the headlight that would normally be powering the ballast. To get the best current for the new ballasts, we want to be more efficient here, and instead of robbing the 20 amp circuit that powers the low beams, we just tap into it to trigger the relay. The relay doesn't require hardly any voltage to trigger, so all of that juice is left in the system for the low beams! Normally people just piggy back right onto that circuit, and in this case, since its powering the two stock ballasts already, the demand on the stock wiring would be too high, and cause flickering and premature failure of ballasts/bulbs. So long story short, this white wire hooking up to the stock circuit instead makes a happy electrical system

When you flip on the headlights now, the white wire acts as a gateway to open up full 12 volts (actually more like 14.5 when the engine is running) to the new ballasts, and it does this using the red wire. When the relay clicks open, all that power flows to the ballasts, which are connected to this red wire at both the passenger and drivers headlight. This is why the wire going into the ballast has been cut with a connector added to the wire.

The last of these 3 is the black wire, which is the ground for the relay itself. It just taps into the ground wire from the low beams, since its a nice solid ground wire and doesn't take anything away from the stock 20 amp circuit.

Yes I am a geek for being excited about these 3 wires...

These are the RGB wires on the passenger side, they plug directly into the RGB wires coming out of the headlights.

There are two fuses in this setup, since both the ballasts, and the RGB receiver box need to have power, but are best wired to their own circuit so that if one blows, the other will not go down with it. I use a 30 amp fuse for the ballasts, and a 15 amp fuse for the LED control box. They share a common loop connector that attaches to one of the 10mm nuts on the positive battery terminal.

These 5 connectors are for the RGB Angel Eyes on the Driver side, plus the 12v wire for the ballast that powers the retrofit Projector. The RGB angel eyes use one power wire (white wire), and 3 ground wires to control the colors. (Red, Green, and Blue wires). These all have female connectors, and the 5th wire shown here has a male connector and a red wire that plugs into the power wire on the ballast.
