    Nope, I actually trimmed the back on the emblem so it's flat and used some 3M double sided adhesive. It seemed a little loose so i also used a little super glue to make sure it stays put. I applied it over 8 months ago and haven't had any issues.

    If you are using a vintage ornament that is raised (like the Mercedes emblem for example) I'd suggest drilling holes.

    hello!

    you car looks a lot like my 2011 GEN COUPE although your WING EMBLEM is on the hood of the car while mine is on the mesh grill in the front bumper.

    QUESTION: did you need to drill a hole in the car to apply the emblem?
    or does it have the 3M adhesive on the back?

    also, i am considering putting a vintage, but re-chromed, hood ornament in my car. not sure if that is gong to happen.
