Hi. I'm hoping you are still active on here. I'm hoping to get a GC by summer of 2014 and am doing a bunch of research on it up front. I just read your "Cone filter in factory air box, DIY CAI for $50" thread and am very interested in how exactly you did it, but all of the pics are gone. You wouldn't happen to still have them would you? Thanks.
Hey I just created this account to inquire about the genny coupe! Please e-mail me firstname.lastname@example.org I know you said you needed money in the next 18months. I am planning on buying a car in june. If you think you can hold on to the car until then, and provide me all the paperwork with all the work done; please contact me! I am in the Air Force stationed in Dover, Delaware.
The kit as far as the turbo goes is complete. However the factory clutch will need to be swapped soon after the stage 3 as it can not hold that much power. Most of th etime that measn a flywheel swap as well which with install means you have to consider spending another $2000.
Also you should get a boost gauge at least and possibly even a wideband O2 gauge.
This also means you need a place to put theo2 sensor, and you need a gauge mount.
The stage 3 system is around 300 whp. It also means you have zero chance of getting a dealer to warranty repair anything in the power train so in simplest terms, yes it will void the power train warranty.
Your insurance company will not know you did the modification unless you tell them but I have no clue how or what they would do if you told them.
