-rear seat
-decent insurance rates
-competitive SCCA chassis
-better than 20mpg
-reliable HP

The Genesis was my only option. I drove an '08 STI home one night, then drove an '06 the next day. Both were great but I chose the Genesis due to it's RWD and all the reasons you listed as to why you want to leave the STI.

I don't regret it one bit.

So far I don't either. This car is just too smooth and too fun to miss my STI to much.

I might be a little sad when the first payment shows up but thats the way of the road bubs.

Just hit 666 miles! 32 MPG! I love this car!

I was however ran off the rode by some bitch and curbed my front passenger rim. Very upset about that. Not sure what I'm gonna do about that yet.

Congrats on the new ride. I had the same thing happen to me at the dealership last month or I'd be in the same exact car you have. They wanted to give me 12k for my 04 STi with~70k, books for 14.5 and they would not budge on the price of the coupe as " It's a hard car to get". It's been on their lot since the damn thing came out. I figured with winter coming up they'd want it gone. Maybe this spring I'll go to a different dealer.

I let my uncle, who's only been driving a minivan, drive my car.....fine start...came back to park...just when i was about to say "Not so close to the curb unc....BAM!! driverside front rim right on the edge...scraped...he was like what was that...i was like "dumbass"...he was sorry...i didn't wig out....however, i cried myself to sleep that night. it's worse when someone else does that junk to your baby.

Well I'm doing a bit rougher break in but that was put on hold because I'm rocking a LOL donut. This whole not being able to go above 50 is painful!

Default Ouch!

So my STI is for sale at the dealership. $23.9 LOL! I paid $23.8 when I bought it 2 years ago haha.

She decided to come back and haunt me though... I had gotten a speeding ticket in September... Finally got the actual fine today... $405 bucks! Holy crap! Looks like any mods for the Genny are gonna be waiting a bit.

Also I got my rim back.. It's not 100% perfect but it definitely looks better than it did. Oh well I plan on having my rims powdercoated black anyway. Or maybe a different set of rims altogether. That'll be a first for me.

It has begunnnnnnnnnnn.

Just purchased my PA reflash unit!
As soon as I get it and funds allow I'll be providing a basline dyno followed by a PA flash dyno! I am REALLY excited to see what this car can do. I was VERY pleased to find out that the PA base flash accomodates bolt ons without a retune. I swear I had to retune my STI if I reset the radio presets

3 months for the mod bug to bite. New record!

Dyno sheets soon!
