Default Just traded my Shelby GT500 for a '13 Track M/T

Yep, went from 545rwhp on my pullied and tuned '07 GT500 to a red '13 Track manual.

Just wanted back into a handling car with more comfort features. The GT500 was a beast in a straight line, but at almost 3900 pounds, most in the nose with the cast iron block, it was not a handling car.

Happy to be here.

Welcome! I went from a nitrous'd/pullied '03 Cobra to a '10 2.0t GC. I have much more fun driving this car than I did the Mustang, and I'm sure you will as well. Congrats on your new ride. Post pics up of both whenever you get the chance.

Not to mention the "exclusivity" of getting a GC and not rolling in a 'Stang.

Sure the GT500 ain't your run-of-the-mill version, but even those struggle to stand-out when you see some kind of Mustang on every street corner.

I guarantee that you'll quickly notice more people staring at your GC, and strangers asking you questions about it.... more so than even a Cobra enjoys.

Welcome to the GC club!

Welcome here 2Cool! you made the good choice!
Nothing worth the fun of a good handling.
Never a stang will follow me in my mountain curves .

Good choice...way to many stangs on the road these days. Your coupe is a great car and in no way is a step back in quality. Believe me when I tell you the coupe goes fast enough to get you there on time and will get you the same ticket a 500 hp stang will.Don't let the ford fanboys tell you "it is still a Hyundai", it is there loss and just bias and ignorance.

What up!

I'm a Ford lover myself too, Had a 99 lightning that was a 600+HP money pit. But I do miss that blower wine with the kooks headers and bassani catback! God that thing was scarry!

Where finally getting FI kits on the market for the 3.8's so not only will your new ride handle better then your old, it'll show its ass at the strip to alot of cars too. As soon as the tuners figure out that new GDI setup anyway.

I agree with the exclusivity but that
Makes me love it more. I'm just trying to get down the road but a few people wanting to kick it up on the street & they have no idea what's about to happen but I'm happy to show them my tail lights.

I am just stunned......but that makes sense, a 500hp live axle vs 350HP LSD and the handling, i think i would have done the same thing....welcome and enjoy!
