I work at a Hyundai Dealership, in the parts department.

I'm pretty much do everything a Parts Manager does, just without the title. Parts and Service Manager is one combined position here and my boss stays pretty tied up over on the service side of things (always MUCH more drama over there). I handle everything on the parts side so he doesn't have to worry about it.

Just previously I was a Computer Repair Technician for Staples and, before that, Best Buy (Yes, I was a Geek Squad Agent...shudder). Anywho, I just got hired by Fujitsu as a Field Service Engineer and will be doing major commercial computer infrastructure repairs. A big way of saying I will drive to retailers and fix broken printers, P.O.S. systems, etc.

I used to work for firedog. I was one of the rare good techs that could actually fix your problems when you brought your computer in. Made pretty decent money too.

Now I'm unemployed and looking but it's kinda bleak out there. Makes me feel worse when I see that my wife who graduated high school valedictorian, and then did well in college, still hasn't found anything and has been searching longer than I.. I'm finishing school now though so a lot of my focus is there as well.

I do have a friend on the inside that thinks I'm a perfect candidate for position a to maintain computer systems across a few cities.. Let's hope I hear something about it soon.

Big fancy title to describe a "phone guy", but I try to milk it for big raises every 6-8 months.
