I got a call from Hyundai yesterday. I was told that 401 Dixie Hyundai had two 2013 white 3.8gt's in automatic and manual. I took a drive today and test drove the auto. The car looks and drives great. The only issue I had was the Tan leather interior on both cars.
I was not a fan of the tan leather, I had been waiting too see it in person before I pulled the trigger. I was told they get it in black leather, So I might let the GT automatic with tan leather go.
The Hyundai dealer owner is driving the auto. He only had been driving it a week. So, both cars are on the lot and can be bought. If anyone is looking for that model and interior color, check it out.

You shouldn't have let it go. The white GTs only come with tan interior just like the red. I prefer the tan myself. The full black looks very plain IMO. The V6s are pretty rare still. Most are preordered or sold as soon as they hit the ground. Look on autotrader. Lots of dealers advertise new cars there. I found a few that way.

WTT: Black leather +cash for your 2013 beige leather interior.

And FYI white, black and red 3.8GT cars only come with beige seats.

The car is still available if I want it, but the I am not a fan of the brown-orange color. It could grow on me, but at first look I would prefer black. I was told that Hyundai has had complaints with not having black leather interior for the white,red, etc for 3.8gt model. They have had a halt in production this month and when it resumes they are going to have the option of getting black leather. I was also told that the front grill will have different options, I do not know what that will mean. I guess we will see.

If I do end up with the tan interior because all other options fail. I will keep in mind of swapping interiors with you "inthecity".

I'm sorry, but none of that is true. For this model year at least, white is only paired with the brown leather. There's also no plan for a new grille.

I agree with you, the orangey-brown shade of the interior turned me off as well. And I was told there are no options for a black interior on the 3.8, which looks cleaner on a white coupe imo. I opted for the 2.0...not just for the interior but I found the turbo to be just as fun to drive. I would recommend a test drive of the turbo!

When i was looking for a new car, as soon as i seen beige interior, i was completely turned off from it. That colour is god awful and does not belong in the car. I walked in to 1 dealer, seen the gen i wanted, seen the interior and instantly pulled a 180 and went to the next hyundai dealer and spent 1500 more just to get a gen without that crap/pukey brown interior. Hell, i probably would have spent 3g's more just to not have that colour interior, but to each their own i guess.

Pretty much. I don't know about you, MTD, but I find the brown leather makes the car look $10k more expensive than it is. It does a lot for the ambiance. I did 1,200 km in a white 3.8 GT 6MT this week and loved it every time I got inside.

I saw white 2013 R-Spec sitting in Thornhill Hyundai last week. Looked pretty good except the front. (Which never grows on me )

i don't think they meant a brand new grill. i think they means that some of them have come painted to match the car and some have come black.
