Garage
Default

It's been snowing the last 2 days, and the road to my garage is muddy. It wasnt that bad until I tracked foot prints all around the back half of the garage while doing the spoiler. It's actually getting hose and brushed out tomorrow before my upper cabinets show up for the front part of the garage. Next month all the walls and ceiling get drywalled

Normally it looks like this:

If anyone were not at the office or home during Fedex delivery, I suggest you to call Fedex giving tracking info to arrange for pick up at nearest station or schedule redelivery.

We get notification from Fedex and you'll get same notification. Please check!

Just the tape. Biggest thing: don't let the f***ing thing touch before you're ready!!! It barely touched, and It was such a bitch to remove and reapply, that tape is gnarly.

I flipped the lip over, and with the protective backing left on the tape strips I let it bake in the sub for about 15, while the trunk was also in the sun. They were both nice and hot so the tape bonded well.

Peel off, line up, press down. Need an extra set of hands to help line it up, and make sure you push it forward enough so there aren't gaps on the backside of the lip. Other than that, pretty straightforward.

Paint match is PERFECT with only one small gouge in a place that isn't viewable once installed.

Thanks man. Color match is superb. Just follow the advice up above and you'll be good. Too bad you can't come down on Saturday, our cars are basically twins!

I set up a electric heater in my trunk, while the trunk was open so the heat was going straight up into the lid, and I let it run until the whole lid was pretty warm.
