is there a list of the harnesses which the vehicle uses for the various electronics in the engine compartment?

Basically, I want to reroute (lengthen) some of the wiring so there's more "wiggle" room in there, but instead of splicing in longer sections of wire I would just like to make a whole new run with the appropriate connectors at the end.

Also, where can I get these things? Are they like off the shelf?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hyundai is pretty good about technical info. You can sign up for their service site at Hyundai Service Website. They have complete wiring schematics to work from.

We get harnesses complete from Hyundai, and from what I can tell they are not cheap. Connectors are not sold individually.

Believe me, a plug kit with all the ends to do what you want to do would make life a lot easier.

also are your v6 mounts going to be produced. rumor was that the custom mounts pushed the engine back nearly 2 inches. for serious track coupes with no interior this would be a desirable product.

when are we gonna see some GT class action from RMR? is Rhys your only driver or are you putting more ppl in more seats?
I assume you are talking about the drift car... Without saying too much we work within the rules to get the car as low as possible without losing suspension travel. The added bodywork also helps the car appear lower. If you're talking about a different car, let me know.

As for the mounts, we have no plans to offer them for the V6. Our car runs a dry sump (which is for sale), and you would likely run into a clearance issue running the stock oil pan with those mounts.

I too would love to see us compete in sports car racing! Rhys is our only full-time driver, however this past season we had Marcus Dodd and Robbie Maddison in GRC and Rod at Pikes Peak as part-time drivers.

We do nearly all of the fabrication and prep in-house. Occasionally, we will send work out to local shops in the area.

Our shop is capable of welding and machining, and we have prepared customer cars in the past. We do not have a casting facility, so we would send that work out.

Please feel free to PM me what kind of work you are looking for or contact the shop directly and we'd be happy to quote you.

So I decided to look into this and it seems like I will be able to roll out a product. I just need to determine the community demand so the pricing can be established.

EDIT: new thread for the wiring harness Feeler: Wiring harness kit

I've been looking into a second caliper h-brake system and I have sourced all the parts except a rear caliper. I have the factory brembos but I have heard single piston calipers are better to use for this plus I think a single piston caliper would be cheaper. Do you have any suggestions on a single piston caliper that would fit the rear brembo rotors or do you think I should just go with a second set of brembo calipers?

I know this has been posted before in other sections and threads, but what is the "safe" HP limit of the 3.8 V6 with stock internals?

I asked rmr quite some time ago about this. They run a completely different suspension than stock. And so will I soon

Not necessarily a technical question, but any closer to releasing the license plate relocation trunk lid?

Robert thanks for offering your help, I have two questions:

1.How did you address the understeer with the car?
2. What did you guys do to improve the suspension? ( Lapping / Racing setup)

Last response to question 11/28/11, is it safe to say that RMR is no longer active on this forum?
