if Eibach lowers a bit more than TEIN... why would TEIN harm your car and Eibach wouldn't??

And I repeat myself ... if you're going all out with your car, get coilovers and stop saying that lowering springs just kill your struts cause they don't. Unless you track the car or drive like you're in a track all the time, you should be fine with them. Why did TEIN do the springs? cause people want them. The same for Eibach and some other companies.

Coilovers are a bit pricey and for the drop and stance I want pro-kit will do just fine. Springs WILL damage your struts over time which could be 4+ years or several months just depends on the condition of roads traveled on a daily basis.

And how much you care for your car...

you can mess up shocks on factory springs too... I guess everybody forgets about that, huh?

This thread is pointless as of now...

+1. My rsx shocks are blown on factory springs and it has a lot to do with the bad roads around here in atlanta.

But my rsx is 8 years old with 97k miles.

Pics look great. I just ordered S-Tech's for my Track model. Should be here this week... I'm running the 15mm SuperDrift spacers right now. What spacers would work best with these springs? I was thinking about switching to 20mm. Also, I plan to get 4 camber bolts and try for -1.5 camber. Should I do an alignment right after installing these or wait a day or two for the springs to settle?

I have yet to align mine, but I may need to adjust my camber. My wheels look like they have some negative camber, but it may be just a mind trick. I haven't really worried about it since my tires are wearing evenly.

when aligning, my car was found to be at 2.1 neg camber in rear tires

toe was .13 total but pointing to one side

front camber is bout -1 which is more less factory

if they see that you removed the stock springs, you can kiss your warranty coverage good bye. Dealerships are not as dumb as you think.

how would they tell? What if I buy coilovers....come winter I take them out and put the stock suspension up...but somehow, it fails at a later date.

does that mean they wont warranty it b/c I took them out in the past?

what about if I change my own brake pads and the pistons quit working after some time.... will they not warranty it?

With coil over you can simply adjust the ride height as needed in the winter. Should something go wrong with your suspension however, hyundai may deny your claim for warranty work since you replaced the stock suspensions with after market parts. How can they tell? hyundai has marked every bolts and hoses on the car so if you removed something that's how they know and use it against you.
