Default Powered By Max Angle Kit

Well, for those of you who do not know about the development of a PBM Super Angle Kit here it is.

They are still testing the kit to make sure it is perfect for production. Ackerman for so much angle is very important to the stability and performance of such a kit. There is a lot more to this kit than just sick angle. It corrects geometry and takes into consideration all aspects. See how flat the tire is to the ground at full lock. If you look at pics of other kits on the market they can barely keep half a tire on the ground at full lock.

Here are some vids of PBM USA Pro FD drivers proving that PBM USA knows their stuff.
Sickest reverse entries by Ryan Kado.

Ross Petty Ultimate Car Control

Matt Fields Sick 90 degree Entries at FD Las Vegas

As you can see its more than just having angle. Its about car control through improved suspension geometry. I feel like a crack head in need of an fix...Show some support for the sickest suspension company developing parts for the GC.

This link is to a funny drifting video. Its a must watch. FYI, only press the small play symbol on the screen so it plays directly on their website. Do not press any large "Play" or "Download" buttons as it will take you to a Real Player download.

Ryan kado's reverse entry was the weirdiest i've ever seen. not sure if i even consider that a reverse entry.
Regardless tho, he can drive for sure.

Guess i'm comparing it to kawabata's famous reverse entries.

Nice Angle kit but would have to agree w/ pwned88.

Kawabata's entry and was definitely silky smooth. It looked like to me that this was a test session for Kado and not a contest. I'm pretty sure this will be his 2nd year as a pro so cut him a little slack. Plus the Balcony is a small track and limits entry speeds. The one thing I did notice about both drifts was the contact patch of the front tires and the deep angle. Both looked like they maintained a significant contact patch.

Just remember guys the PBM angle kit is still a prototype. I know for a fact that they will be working on a kit that will fit 18"s. It just a process of development. I'm sure they would appreciate any input on the kit so they can make the kit perfect for production.

I'm waiting on them to make a kit that fits 18s, then I'm all over that kit like a fly on stink. Since I run year-round and I need to fit my winters, a kit that fits 20s only will never be seen on my car, and 19s are hella expensive for tires.

Garage S-4, i emailed you guys this morning regarding your angle kit but too pricey for me.
Thank you for your response & information.

I'll be patient & wait as well for a possible production for 18's/19's sometime in tha near
future from PBM. I need all the suspension parts i can get, the drifting scene is steadily
growing & has evolved to whole-nother level...

If you guys want more angle for a DD or for weekend drifting Synchro G tierods are the affordable solution. I have been running their tierods for over 6 months without any problems. I recommend them. However, I spent saturday drifting with Dan from Powered By Max and let me tell you that his full suspension is on a completely different level. The way his angle kit works is amazing. It keeps such a large contact patch on the front tires that he can get completely sideways and still track the line. I float out or spin out if I even attempt anything close to what Dan can do. Its like comparing Jordan to Derek Fisher.

Dan told me that he understands that everyone wants a kit that fits 18s so he will give the people what they want. He will start on developing the kit in about a month after he finishes up on a 370z project.
