Default Hyundai Genesis Coupe Geometry Correction and Steering Angle Kit

I thought I would post this thread to measure the interest for a new front suspension. I want to show vendors and fabricators that there is money in it for them. I think the Gencoupe members are well educated (proven by Quartermaster not to be true) and would only support a complete kit.

Items to be addressed in the kit:
1. Lower Control Arms
2. Bushings
3. Change sway bar end link mount to eliminate/reduce bump steer (correction, steering wheel kick back. Information provided by AKGC Wiki research)
4. Correct some roll center by lowering arm/rod mount points on the knuckle
5. Move mount/pivot points of the tie rods and LCA on the knuckle to improve self centering and steering response
7. Maximize steering angle
8. Fit 18" wheels
9. Cost estimate to be around $800 to $1000

Please choose one of the 2 poll responses if you want some one to make a kit like this.
1. Interested, possible future mod.
2. Seriously interested and would put down a deposit.

Vendors and fabricators please post your comments as well. We are all interested in your thoughts.

Yeah, tell me about it. Hopefully there are more than a few gencoupe members looking for a kit like this.

I'll buy a set once my car is running again. I don't know if I'm willing to make the jump to 20's like the PBM kit required though

Yeah, the kit would have to fit 18's but it doesn't look like there is enough demand to present it to any companies. Sucks cuz I could really use it.

I've tried. Even contacted PBM a long time ago. They can make a one off but gottah put down mad money and leave the car. Especially right now, no one will make a kit, its racing and drift season. Everybody is busy. I don't see a kit being develop and tested till the end of this year and released next year. That's if there's interest.

Hmm you got me thinking. There's a shop I know that might be able to make something. My car should be in there getting some engine stuff done soon. I'll see if they have any ideas. They modify 240 knuckles all the time

Do it. Better have it made here then pay vendors like SFR and BTR and pay the extra tax because its Korean made. Rather it be USA made and pay top dollar for it.

Would it be worth getting this kit if I just wanted to improve handling for daily driving? I'm asking becuase currently I'm a delivery driver, and the roads I drive on the majority of the time are bumpy, or really uneven; which I guess can't be helped too much, or have shallow ruts in them. I guess I'm asking would it be overkill money wise versus just getting some megan or BC coils since I'm still just city driving and not taking my car to the track. Sorry for the long, and probably dumb questions, I'm definitely not well educated, but I try and pick up what I can

this is called "Geometry Correction" so yes it will help DD alot. It'lll actually make your car safer to drive.

I'm definitely interested in this then, although I doubt I'll buy one as soon as they go on sale.

If that is the price, I would put a deposit down right now.

Jim, why so bitter? I'm in for this! Bump steer on my ride is atrocious.

Bump is the upstroke of the suspension cycle. Bump steer is a steering degradation causing understeer. It pretty much doesn't allow the wheel to turn as much while is wheel is being stuffed in the fender

We have fairly bad bump steer on the stock suspension. Sways help but could use some more
