Default Front Strut or No Front Strut

I read a few threads about the benefits of the front strut, given the cost is under $70 or so. My question is, for those who have installed, have you really noticed a difference and second, was it easy to install. From what I saw on youtube, you don't have to jack the car up or anything, you simply remove the bolts, place the strut in place and tighten things back up. Would someone who has done this please comment as well provide some simple instructions on how to do this.

Thanks

Are you talking about the strut tower bar or the front anti-roll bar? This seems more like a question in the suspension section.

the strut brace is an easy install, takes no time at all...and its OEM.

I couldnt feel anything after install. These cars are stiff as it is. Only reason I added one is because the GT's have them (I added all other GT spec parts).

^ He's right. Its a very easy install.

The GC has 24% higher torsional rigidity than the BMW E46 M3. Now that is pretty stiff.

Case and point, try jacking up the car by the pinchrail just behind the front tire. When you do, the car is stiff enough that it actually lifts the rear tire almost off the ground!

I spoke with someone and said by installing you could loose or need a front end alignment. Is this true? Could someone post some simple step by step instructions, or is as simple as take the bolts off, attach and tighten bolts?

no need for any alignment, all you do is loosen the nuts, place the strut brace in place and put the nuts back.

OK I saw a post on the Facebook group and one guy said he ordered from Hyundai for about $70. I called my dealership and he said they have not released them yet. Where can I get one??? I am in Mississauga and would love to have something to install over the weekend. I like the idea of painting it.. Hey for $70 or so bucks, you can't go wrong.

In the Canadian forum, the part numbers are listed plus the dealership's contact info. No customs since they're in Canada
