just a question. why would you use ceramic pads? i thought ceramic pads were for racing because they work better when they are worked hard and heat up.

Ceramic pads are much quieter, don't wear down the rotor as quickly as well as the pads, can handle high temperature with less heat fade, and generate much less dust, and what it does generate isn't noticeable and is less likely to stick to the wheels.
All the different kinds of pads have their ups and downs, but ceramic is probably the best all around pad. |

The stock rims on my Tiburon weren't the best taken care of (in terms of cleaning) so the brake dust inside the rims is basically caked on. I tried to clean it once and after making ZERO progress, I gave up.
I try to keep my Tenzo's clean now. |
