What size tires would you recommendfor the following:
19x8.5 + 22 for the fronts
19x9.5 + 25 for the rears

Going to be getting Stance Coilovers as well.

I'm at the 'window shopping' stage of buying wheels right now and I'm looking for some insight from all the wheel gurus on here. I'm considering running a set of Stance SC-5 in a double staggered format with 19x9.5 +35 up front and 20x10.5 +35 in the rear. Unfortunately these wheels don't come in a more aggressive offset....so I'm wondering if these offsets will work with my planned setup of BC Coils (as low as I can go for daily driving) with a slightly to moderately stretched tire setup? I guess spacers are always an option if need be, but I'd prefer to do without if possible. Thanks in advance.

You will need an aggressive stretch to get the car to clear the struts, you may experience issues with the coils hitting the tire. I'd say a 225/35/20 245/35/20 and you should be fine.

245/35/19 F
275/35/19 R or 265/35/19 might look better.

That's a VERY minor stretched look.

You will need a bit of negative camber, depending on how low you are.

You could stick with OEM tires and go a bit more aggressive with your drop.

Tire Advice

I need to buy replacement tires for these wheels soon:

Forgestar F14
Front: 19x8.5 +35
Rear: 19x9.0 +35

Would appreciate if anyone can recommend the best fitting tire sizes for these that would work and if I would need spacers. Not lowered. Gracias.

Are we talking about running negative camber too or just stock camber? Thanks.

You'll need a 20mm spacer in the front and a 25mm spacer in the rear to be flush

Both actually, even if you run negative camber the tire will hit the strut. If I recall correctly the stance coils are a little wider than others and are more prone to rubbing. If these wheels weren't so wide you would be in better shape.

A noobie boobie wants wheels

Noobie tryna get new wheels. Been seeing a lot I like but these are a little different so I wanted to see if they'd fit and if so what size tire to go with.

(F) 19x9 +20
(R) 19x10.5 +25

Was also thinkin about puttin a 20x10.5 for the rear but +30 is the only offset they have for said wheel. Advice? Thanks!!

Also running stock springs.

FUNDAI 03-01-2012 06:31 AM

This should help you out, here's my car....

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y36...y/25654f02.jpg

20x8.5 +20 225/35/20
20x10 +25 255/35/20

Camber:
-2.0 R
-1.2 F

Cebum v3 03-01-2012 06:39 AM

Damn thats nice, and the camber isn't even noticable. Thanks man.

FUNDAI 03-01-2012 06:42 AM

You only really notice the camber if you look straight on from the back.

I'll be adding some small spacers here soon to really dial in the fit.
But that's just personal preference.

Cebum v3 03-01-2012 06:51 AM

Will the spacers make it not need the camber?

FUNDAI 03-01-2012 06:55 AM

Adding spacers lowers your offset, If anything I will need more camber. I have some 20mm spacers at home from my winter setup. I'm going to test fit them today, it will bring my offset down to +5 in the rear.

Cebum v3 03-01-2012 06:58 AM

Ohh I gotcha. Also since yours are 20s and mine will be 19s you think mine will need the camber since they're a lil smaller?
