fair warning, this thread is going to be SLOWLY updated because im doing this on a budget. While i could buy everything new, i would kinda like to piece this together finding good used deals. Ive pretty much decided the car wont move all year :-( because im not gonna just dump tons of money and i have other bigger priorities lol. Its not the DD so idc how long it sits. Someone said why not just put the big turbo on and drive it this year, then build it next winter/fall. Well you see because A, ill probably blow it up and then cost more lol, and B, i hate doing things twice so just pull, build and boost all at once.

I havent decided on what turbo yet, im thinking the Precision 6262 because i wont settle for anything less then 550 wheel on 93oct. Evo Guys seem to let that turbo go real cheap, and then ill just send it off to get rebuilt before i use it. i could do the 3076 but i dont think that will get me there. if i had super deep pockets i would go EFR lol.

i would like to corn juice down the road, but thats when i can get my hands on a Haltech. but for now ive had 3 good years with BTR so ill be going back to them.

a Local shop JMB Performance will probably be doing the build, and Terrys Machine shop...well the machining lol

i just picked up the manifold for an awesome price, heres pics from the Seller, ill post more when it gets here.

Parts List:
(?) means undecided
please feel free to add or give a suggestion, this is my first endeavor into something like this.

Manley Performance makes just about everything you need. I chose to use their pistons and rods along with their valve springs and retainers to go with my Tomei cams(great cam choice here). My machinist has put together many engines at over 1000whp with Manley stuff and recommended them to me. I expect no issues once I get this motor into my car.

As for clutch, I find too many inconsistencies with American clutch companies, so I ordered an Exedy twin plate which is rated at 560tq if I remember correctly.

With regards to turbo, although I run a Precision 5858, if I had to do it again I'd go with Garrett. From what I see on the dyno all the time, Garrett turbos have better response. My 5858 should make it to 500whp easy, but my next turbo will be a GTX3576r.

You may also need to look into a better fuel solution. 750cc won't cut it. And it gets edgy with only running a single fuel pump. 500-550hp is about the limit of what a single in-tank fuel pump can flow, so you may need to look into a twin pump setup. I'll be doing more R&D on this once I put my car on the dyno next month.

Santa came while I was at work yesterday. ... here's a few pics I'll get more later. Hopefully going to start working on it next weekend. ..still waiting on my fuel return kit from PRW....I'll update the mod list after work

Quick update my PRW Fuel Return kit, GM flex sensor and gauges should be arriving today and looks like we're gonna start the real work this Saturday after I get off work. I'm stoked lol....gonna owe my dad a big fathers day present since the car will be sitting in his garage for a few weeks. With him being a 25+ year ford master tech I'm hoping for this to go pretty smooth he keeps saying it shouldn't be hard at all lol....let's hope....

One more thing I'm ditching the FP turbo someone buy it make me an offer....waiting on my friend to send me the invoice for my new BIG Turbo lol.... PTE Gen 2 6266 BB....I'm gonna hit that 600hp mark.....

Oh man this thread is full of WIN!!!!!!!!!! If I had the money, I'd def purchase a bottom end and build it as well ! I can't wait to see how this turns out.

I do agree with skidz on the injector issue. I would def get no smaller than 1000cc's. I currently run ID1000cc on my setup and I'm basically 100% injector DC on E85 @ 20psi, however I'm still using my 2010 fuel sending unit which has the 55psi FPR. At 55psi the ID 1000cc injectors actually flow at 1135cc & at 85psi (2013+ 2.0 fuel sending unit) they flow at 1390cc. You don't have to worry about that since you have a 13'. So yeah, I'd say no smaller than 1000cc.

Good luck on everything ! If you ever have questions feel free to PM me.

Just noticed you plan on using a 2 bolt TiaL 38mm WG which will not work unless you change your manifolds' WG flange as it's vband. The TurboXS manifold comes with an AGP flange on it which is meant to pair with AGP's 46mm vband WG. I'm currently using a Tial MVR 44mm vband WG and did have to change the manifold from AGP flange to TiaL flange. Also, I had to change my manifolds turbo vband flange to a precision vband flange as the TurboXS one comes with a TiaL flange.

Yeah I need to update that first post because a lot has changed. ...I'll do that this weekend with pics....I sold my TXS mani and that WG and now have a Sheepy mani with the tial 44mm....anyways I'll edit tomorrow I'm dozing off now.....oh and I have some ID1300s and Bosch 2000 ...I'll probably run the IDs like @ElDominio suggested.

Few more toys came today. I had these shipped to my house but my PRW return kit shipped to my parents I didn't make it over there tonight

Today's plan is Pull the engine.
Run the fuel lines and fuel pump relay mod. Still waiting on the timing chain, water pump and oem gasket set, those should be here this week then start assembling everything next weekend

PRW return kit. Everything is labeled should be a pretty straight forward install. Very pleased.

One step colder plugs

OEM throw out bearing and BeyondRedline braided clutch line.

well didnt quite get as far as i liked today. Everything is unbolted. there is a ton of various connectors. HYUNDAI WHY COULDNT YOU USE THE SAME CONNECTORS FOR EVERYTHING? seems like they used a million different kinds lol....but now the easy part just need to hook up the hoist and chains and pull it out. im done for the day ill do that next week. still might run the fuel lines and do the relay thing tomorrow though

Well my Competition Clutch Flywheel has a booboo. Can you spot it? Lucky CCI customer service is top notch and when I called the phone rang maybe 3 times and a live person answered! No stupid automated systems anyways part number is BA50M and was $10.
