Hey everyone. I have a bone stock 2013 genesis coupe base model. Manuel transmission. I ran into a problem with the turbo. My turbo spools up. I can hear it but I dont feel the power. It's like it takes it air but i dont hear it go out the BOV like it should. I checked the hoses attached to the intercooler and everything else but I cannot find the problem. Can anyone please help me or give me advice. This is driving me nuts and I'm scared ima mess something up.
Run a code scan. Even if there's no CEL...run a scan anyways. To me it sounds like your wastegate might be stuck open. A code scan will tell you if you're needing a wastegate actuator.

unplug the bov solenoid, and plug it back in; disconnect the bov vacuum hose from the solenoid, spray a tiny bit of wd40 into the vacuum port of the solenoid, then connect everything back.
drive around and see if it makes a difference.
Also check if the PVC valve is working (its a 1 way valve thats threaded into the valve cover)
