The A/T do not have the solid CV bolted on at the diff output. They are slip-in style with splined input. Easier to swap when they break. Not much loss in terms of strength. This was discussed a while ago.

The stainless turbo housing is supposed to be delivered today. Subframe is being dropped off tomorrow for some parts fab and I still have to find bearings for the diff. I can't really do much tuning with it on jack stands so I guess the project will be on hold for a bit.

That's SS. It won't be corroding much. Just dropped the clips and bolts in my ultrasonic tank with some Simple Green aircraft cleaner.
We'll see how much rust comes off. Heh.

Well, yeah, but I feel the thick ceramic coatings do a better job of keeping the heat in the exhaust stream and thus maintaining the exhaust gas velocities. Of course, it could be argued that since blankets and wraps tend to do a better job of keeping the engine bay cool and reduce radiant heat from warming nearby components, thus lowering IAT, that they have a better net effect on thermal efficiency. What I don't like is a thermal blanket's much greater ability to become an inextinguishable torch when they get coated in oil...

How much would it cost to get it insulated? I will have to run the blanket for now to protect the lines running right under it.

Swaintech posts "estimated pricing" on their site. They don't often vary, but crazy features and difficult designs do cost more. I think they list turbo housings at $100 - $125. Also you have to factor for shipping. They're in Pennsylvania or New York or something. Important note, btw, while using a coating AND a blanket/wrap in tandem does increase thermal efficiency, Swaintech along with other thermal coatings firms say if you do it you will damage the ceramic and possibly the metal underneath.

Not bad. I will do that before I finish the engine swap. The tuning needs to be finished first.

Time for some bumper and grill rework.
Basic structure is done. Gotta fill the logo gap and add some center reinforcement.
The bottom is going to have a misting bar so it will likely stay open, but trimmed where the clips are.

Final firmware updates in progress. There are 2 things left: cruise throttle control and 4 wheel speed channels.
Something is preventing the main cruise state from enabling so "set" is not enabling the throttle control.
I am hoping to have the front and rear wheel speed CAN channel deciphering done soon.

The sedan sway bar adapter kits are done if anyone is interested.
My final sedan subframe has been stripped and checked, picking it up tomorrow to paint it.
The last bit of rear work will be to swap the subframe out and install the PSM upper and lower arms.

I spent an hour on the car last night and found out it was the inlet pressure (load) limit setting preventing the cruise from enabling. Now, the throttle logic doesn't work. Yet more coding and testing..
