I received mine, and I have to say..."The quality of the construction is outstanding. I still have not driven it yet, but I will give my opinion later. As a note, Titan was easy to get in touch with and shipping was quick. Thank you.

I got mine installed in about 5 minuits, I appears well made and well thought out. I does what its supposed to do, an elegantly simple solution to the too soft motormount problem.

BTW I was gandering at my 4cyl leash set up and had mentioned using two of them, one at each end of the motor. The front has the lifting eye at a good location for a cable to run straight across. The rear lifting eye was removed for a longer piece as it was too short.

Got this installed today and coupled with my Megan mount my 2010 3.8 shifts perfectly. The mount helped but this engine leash is night and day. Absolutely worth it.

It doesn't work out so well. I've tried painting all of the parts, it just comes off and looks bad

Needs to be anodized. I've used some heat shrink tubing around the collars and it looks ok.

Maybe someone else will have better results

Since installing my TROS Potent Booster I can feel the trans/engine rocking up and down on a high rpm shift. I wonder if a leash holding the front of the motor down would work?

Im not a major mod guy, but the combination of of the engine leash and sprint booster really transform the personality of the car IMHO.

Is there a risk that anchoring the engine only at the back could cause the engine to twist unusually, causing other premature wearout?

I dont see how, it wouldn't twist or move any differently than without the leash installed.

Ok, thanks...I heard the engine mounts were weak, so wasn't sure if the leash would fully support the torque at WOT, or if upgrading the engine mounts were a real necessity with this mod. Just looking not to break something else by trying this.

I dont think the leash is supposed to fully support the torque at WOT, the motor mounts still have to do their jobs, if your hard enough on them i suppose you could still dammage the mounts but the engine leash definetly takes away some of the load and IMHO makes traction to the rear wheels, or lack therof, much more predictable. I dont see how the leash could do any harm unless you were to over tighten it.

Actually the leash will fully support the "added" load from torque. You want just enough slack so there is no transmission of noise but not so much there is a lot of travel so excess movement caused by inertia of the engine weight is at a minimum.

Thanks. They are on back order still; having a problem getting the brackets cut, should be shipping soon.

Made one for the front of the 2L. That OE lifting bracket is pretty flimsy though.
