So had an interesting scare yesterday. Was beautiful turbo weather in NC, went to start my car and as I turned the key the lights in the dash and all over the cabin went out. Sure enough it wouldn't turn over.
Despite this the windows worked and the remote lock/unlock still functioned. I popped the hood and nothing seemed obvious or wrong. However, I had to get to work so I grabbed my other keys and took my other car.
So I went back this morning to try and troubleshoot and every things working. No signs of power issues, car started immediately and drove without issues to work (25-30 minute drive on highway). I guess we can rule out dead/low battery, fuses, but makes me wonder what it was. The only thing I can think of that makes sense would be a loose battery terminal? Even that doesn't make sense because other electrical things were working...
I'm gonna keep an eye on this and connect the battery to my battery tender later to check on its health. I drive the car multiple times a week, typically to work so unless the alternator is on its way out it should be charging.
