seriously? you made another thread when you got the answers on the original thread you posted about mufflers? lets just say....this most cheap knock off ebay exhaust have glass pack resonators do a search on google and you'll see what i'm talking about. get a magnaflow resonator or a aero exhaust one they are like $50 and they are lifetime warranty. and will sound so much better than a glass pack type resonator. it's almost like you want us to say that glass pack resonators are good coz no matter how many members tell you they are crap you keep trying to find some possible hope that someone will tell you they are good.

If your going to put "glasspacks" on your car, why not just go cheaper and get the ebay ricer mufflers. They should last a little bit longer, and it'll probably have the annoying, terrible sound you seem to be going for.

Sorry to be harsh, but this is like fixing a scratch on your car with a crayon. Why would you put the cheapest, worst sounding (unless you have an old big block V8, which doesn't really need help sounding good anyway) exhaust on your car when you could spend an extra 100$ for better stuff.

Wow, never thought I'd hear the words Glasspack and Genesis put together in the same sentence.

I would save up and follow the advice above. I want an exhaust system and its going to set my back probably until Next Spring. But its well worth the wait to get the best.........

I consider my el-cheapo ebay mufflers to be glasspacks. They are a can, with holes in it, and fiberglass packed around it (so I call it a glasspack). I know it is just temporary, but it works great for now, and at $21 a piece that can't be beat. I was looking at magnaflow mufflers for $500 or so for 1 and that is more than my who exhaust cost. You have any good links for a ~$100 nice muffler I might be interested in a year or so when mine need replaced.

But it isn't loud at all, I can hear my radio on 4-5 pretty easily. When I go on the highway I need 6, but I think that is ore highway noise than it is exhaust. Though this cars seems to have a resonating freq 2250 -/+ 250 and that is when it gets loudish., but I wouldn't even call that very loud.

You might be able to hear it in the video clip at the end of my build thread. I know red200 has a MUCh better exhaust video with the same mufflers and I thikn a link to ebay.

All the threads you made asking people for opinions and you still didn't listen...in all honesty for me having a cheap eBay exhaust with a glass pack didn't sound so bad on my scion tc so I'm pretty sure yours won't sound bad yet..once the fiber glass burns up the mesh inside will start to rattle especially when you are at a stop and youll hang your head down low while people wonder where the hell is the kid kicking the tin can only to find out it's your exhaust. You could have done it right once but you chose the high maintenance route good luck with that
