But in my case, for a Daily Driver, Id prefer to be less obvious. If you could pull off a roots blower under a pretty clean/sleek slightly raised hood, that id do in heartbeat.
I cant think of the car, but dont they make Kenne Bells where the intake is actually on the back, with an elbow going to the filter near the fire wall?
Edit: Almost looks like all the Kenne Bells have the intake inlet on the back. Would that help hood clearance?
Prochargers sound like ALL the bearings in your pulleys are bad and about to break loose. Throw a 76GTS or bigger on that beast! Looks like it would fit where the stock airbox was.
Loving so much about the car...the cut hood, not so much. I'd probably attempt to adapt one of the turbo kits that puts the turbo back under the rear bumper for a DD. But for a SEMA car, it'll be badass.
Yea the consensus at the shop has always been to not cut the hood for it, but like you said for a SEMA car it has to have that OMG what is that, factor. No one would ever know about the swap with the hood closed.
HEHEHE.. yea.... good thing this engine bay looks a lot like a Genesis.. ahahahah
jk
Thanks for the support.
