So I have the ProSport Digital series and I've had three senders go bad in three years. Prosport list it for $23 with free shipping. Sometimes if you whine they will give you a discount code.

But GlowShift has the identical sender for $13 and $5 shipping. Hope thy last a bit longer.

I have the same sender in your picture from Prosport and it's been good for about ~2 years. I had one go bad early on but I stopped by their shop and they helped me out. Really cool guys.

I have my oil filter housing tapped for pressure and I see ~31-34lbs at warm idle and ~60 cruising.

I just need to get into the habit of looking at the oil pressure before I start. Currently 16 lbs with the engine off....

So with 200f 5w30 oil I get 30 lbs at idle around 60 lbs cruising at 2k rpm and 80 or so at redline.

Here's another thing.

If the oil never hits 212F/100C then it is never in it's speced viscosity range.

With my new pressure sender and taking the oil cooler off I have a better handle on the oil viscosity. But the oil has only risen to 205F.

The oil seems to lose 1 lb per 1F rise at 2000 rpm in temp when in the 190F-200F range.

Drove yesterday for 2.5hrs at highway speeds in 90F+ temps. Oil temp never got over 219F peak. Usually in the 210-215F range. 0w40 M1 oil.

Pressure on the hot oil was 23 lbs at 715 rpm and 50 lbs at 2000 rpm/50 mph and 65 lbs at 3000 rpm/70 mph.

No oil cooler.

I got around 4,5-5 bar at 95Cwhen driving.
And 0,6-1 bar at idle depends on oil temperature. Also no cooler
