Retrofit 2012 fogs into a 2013.

I'm sure that I'm gonna catch some flak for this but has anyone tried or considered trying this? I like the look of the 2010-12 oem fog lights and they are a lot cheaper then the oem 2013 fogs. Obviously it would take some modification. I was thinking of using mesh to make a custom bezel for it. Either that or use some round fogs from a completely different car.

Thoughts?

Got this picture off of Google (not mine) played around in paint. I was thinking maybe something like this but with mesh around it?

Why would you want to do this lol? The 13 fogs are better in evey aspect!

I know. It was more that I had an opportunity to get them very cheap from a friend. They are gone now though lol. I will probably get the 2013 OEMs, but I am still very intrigued by the idea of round fogs...
