I did test routing of vac lines few days ago and i kinda feel i have too much lines, another thing it seems some are way too much exposed to the heat from turbo. I have bottom mount manifold though. ANyway, i'd appreciate pics, maybe i'll get some inspiration

How is your boost controlled? Electric or manual? Manual is a bit simpler but both setups end up about that same. Where do I even upload photos to post here anymore? Photobucket still?

Thanks mate!

that's pretty the same as i routed it, the difference is that i use Pierburg solenoid supplied with EFR + instead of T fitting i use 4-port fitting to feed bypass solenoid. Btw, why did you opt not to use integrated bpv?

Also, is that MV-R wastegate? which spring setup do you use with push\pull wg control and what does you boost curve look like?

Do you have any heat issues with current setup? I see you have PS tube wrapped and i guess something is wrapped above the downpipe, heater hose?

I already had piping setup for my tial Q so I didn't really need to change anything. It was cheaper to buy a block off plate then it was another charge pipe and powder coat it. Both are totally fine. I may have fitment issues with the intake pipe if I kept the BPV. The Q only uses manifold vacuum from what used to be purge valve port. So it's really quick using that port as I have tried others. It is an MVS wastegate using the 15lb spring IIRC (it's been so long). The spring it came with was a bit too light. Plenty of heat issues even though the manifold and turbine are coated (but pitting thanks to my new garage). The wastegate actually was black when I first got it.. These cars need vented hoods badly, haven't been racing only daily driving so I haven't really needed to worry about it last couple years. There is nothing wrong with the power steering line but anything else I wrapped was just precautionary, I did put a small piece on the heater hose just because I had extra. I also wrapped the wiring harness. I had to splice and relocate all the wiring that comes to exhaust side from the coil harness. All those wires were cooked from heat, insulation coming off.

I have to dig up an old log to see my boost map, it's boost per gear though so a bit less in 2nd gear but the rest full boost.

I decided to give EFR bpv a try, as sometime i really want gen to be a little quiter, plus i like the idea that released air is recirculated (though i won't really benefit from it being an auto). Capped BOV flange with silicone cap, will see how it goes. Regarding Tial, why did you opt for 15lbs spring? My thought was (based on Perrin Performance boost control write up and Turbosmart manual) that push/pull wg control allows to use lighter spring, like you can triple your spring pressure with dual port connection instead of doubling it with single port connection.

My wiring from coil harness was wasted same way, rewired it last week and guess need to add some more insulation. Seems there is no such thing like too much heat insulation.

I got the WG used from a friend and he had originally run it with a manual controller and had issues so he swapped the spring. What those issues were I don't know. All I know is it works great for me
