Site extremely laggy.

I would like to take part of the community here since I just recently purchased a Genesis Coupe and most posters seem like a knowledgeable bunch, however my experience with this site is actually quite terrible. It is extremely slow and laggy. I have a custom built PC that can handle pretty much everything I throw at it. It can load picture heavy websites no problem. But coming here to try and post or read threads, my system just bogs down to hell. Any tips or suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Yeah I'm sure it's not the site itself. I cant for the life of me figure out why it lags so much. Other forums are pretty bad too. Only certain ones but this is the first one I would be visiting often that I have this problem with. I'm hoping someone else had the same problem by chance and got a fix I can try.

Have you cleared your cache and cookies?

Have you run a malware check to ensure your device is clean? (MalwareBytes is hot in the streets these days)

Are you getting redirected to any sites or seeing any rogue popups?

Are you seeing any alerts in your browser of "waiting for" or "connecting to"?

What device / OS / browser are you using?

Any additional information you can provide is helpful.
