When I'm at work it's slow like molasses....I try not to frequent GC much while at work because of that, unless work is extremely slow.

When I'm home though it seems to be running faster...

No matter what computer I'm on and why type of connection, I run into the same slowness problems. At first, I thought it was something that would only go away if a membership was purchased, but now I'm definately not going to pay to use a site that will continue to be slow.

It could also be how cold your house gets, if you live up north. I know where I'm staying, we have a den/nook...and it gets quite cold, and we had our router/other computer out there, and the computer refused to turn on...and my internet would slow down at night when it got cold, but now that I brought it in, it's quick and the other computer works fine now.

That doesn't make sense. Computers run better in lower temperatures. Hence why people use water, phase change, LN2, etc.

No issues for me though. Firefox and IE on my home and work computers respectively, and stock gingerbread Android browser.

Maybe when it gets too cold the internets in your wires freeze and become slow.

Ive been having other issues recently. Both Chrome and my AV pop up saying this site is known for malware. Being that I work for an ISP I know that there is alot of false positive when it comes to malware and spyware, but it something that should be looked into.

This isnt the case. Data centers are kept very cool because the devices themselves create alot of heat. The cooler the better, unless its like -40.

Garage

You got it backwards. The colder it gets the faster electrons flow. Try leaving the windows open and turn the heat off when you're surfin'......

The slowness that I experience is unlike any other website I've used in the past.

Everytime I navigate to a different GenCoupe.com page, it partially loads the page and I can wheel scroll down, until it freezes while loading something (what, I don't know) and then un-freezes. It's almost like the ads loading are slowing everything down.

Definately not a computer or connection issue. Browser type, unlikely.
