bk1 megan racing engine mounts on bk2

I know its been done, but I cant find any information about it aside from random posters saying that it has been done. The search being god awful doesn't help. Does anyone have any references or can point me in the right direction? I plan on doing it regardless as I've already purchased the mounts. Honestly it doesn't look like it'll involve much aside from drilling the three holes into the frame and possible fabbing up some support bracket but i doubt that. But if anyone has any information/guidance/tips on this before i tackle it would be very appreciated.

Replace your engine subframe with BK1 subframe, use bk1 mounts..
What's what I have on my bk2, but due to rebuilding salvadge when bk2 was only.6 month into production and not feeling like paying out of the ass .

Why not to just fill your stick mounts with epoxy, will have same effect. Buy a set to have no downtime for curing.

Epoxy will eventually crack and shatter.

What you can do is burn out the rubber of the mounts and pour in higher durometer (flexibility/stiffness) urethane?
IIRC stock has something like 60~70 durometer.

There are plenty of vid of how to do it on youtube.

honestly replacing the subframe sounds like waaay more work then just drilling three holes and possible welding in a brace.
and ive already purchased the megan racing mounts, didnt see the point in filling the stock ones as its not as durable.

my stock mounts are trashed, whole reason im swapping the mounts. like i said above, it doesnt seem like itll be that difficult but i swear ive read that people have done it before. just wish they would share the knowledge with the rest of us.

Can I ask What these mounts do?

(My Genny is a BK2 with BK1 engine and BK2 8speed transmission from factory, so I might benefit somehow)

Figured as much, pretty straight forward. Probably document some of it for some easily accessible knowledge.

just stiffens up your motor mounts. The bk2s dont have any aftermarket mounts far as i can tell. the bk1 does but the mounts are different. bk1 has three bolts that attach to the frame and bk2 has just one. only way to get it to fit is to drill three holes.
