Cleaned my maf sensor yesterday on the 2010 coupe, and decided to clean the throttle body since it's never been done before. Very dirty. Took about 45 minutes to get it nice and shiny and clean. Very noticeable difference in throttle response. Something to consider!!

I did mind the first time, after a strange incident.
I was at a stop sign, fully stopped, and the engine decided to peg to 5k rpm out of nowhere (automatic).
I think there was only one other person that had the same issue, but they were cruising down the highway. Vid of that is floating around on youtube.

Haven't had an issue like that since.
I clean mine once a year.

Yeah..I will be doing the same maintenance (once yearly). I should have done it years ago. Quite easy to do, especially with the coolant bypass. Only pain in the ass is loosening off the bottom bracket nut for the throttle body bracket under the exhaust manifold heat shield. Next time I do it, I'm going to modify the top part of the bracket that bolts onto the throttle body so I can slide the tb out without touching the lower bracket.
