Took ride height measurements to try and get some info on why the car pulls to the right. Also putting in the Megan trans mount.

For now it went in the left corner of dash. On picture below is from my head height so you can see it's not in my driving vision. Also, any power source I tapped into for the monitor caused a flashing when not in reverse so I ran a wire from the back to only power monitor when in reverse. What ya'll think??? That looks great man, is there any way to hook up the camera to the factory screen? i have a 2013.

Or you have to get a separate screen?

From what I could find, even though the Canadian models have bu cameras as part of the screen, not an option in US to make it work. Too bad, even some cheaper cars are coming with bu cameras as standard.

That sucks, I used to have a 2013 Veloster Turbo and it had one. now I want one because I'm not used to driving this longer car lol.

Installed my Ark Grip, Ark Down Pipes, Ark Test Pipes and put my Varrstoens back on the car. I had this full exhaust setup on my 3.8L Bk1 and it sounded good, but not this good! I'm assuming the GDI engine and the BK2 having an extra 40ish crank HP makes the exhaust sound so much better on the BK2. I'm loving it even more. (Gold Muteki SR48 Lugs and dirty ass wheels!) Plans are to put gold wing badges on the trunk to match the lugs and I just ordered a Fazer V2 Grille in Gloss Black, this car is going to be beautiful!

Installing my BC Coils next weekend if the weather permits!! Can't wait to see this beauty with a drop!

Is that a custom plate or just luck of the draw?

I actually ended up never ordering custom plates. Wondering if I should, only because my plates are beat to hell and I may as well have fun with it... right? Are custom plates targeted more by law enforcement? No vulgar ideas, actually, only super nerdy ones.

Luck of the draw lol. I was going to get a custom plate but decided against it because it would have taken another 90 days for it to come in. It was going to cost me $90 for the plate and $50 every year to renew it on my birthday. Didn't sound that bad to me. I wanted to go with RSPECGT, KDMLIFE, KDMBK2, RSPEC38, or BK380GT. All were available in my state too.

Stenna it can also depend on what is available in what you want your plate to say, I'd guess submitting a custom vanity plate name has to be approved by the DMV of your state so they're probably used to people trying to sneak something through. What do you have in mind for what a plate would say or imply?

Woah, for NJ it's a one time fee of $50! Those are all valid and it's never too late

Yeah, all submissions go through the MVC/DMV. Being the gigantic Harry Potter nerd that I am I was going to go with SLYTHRN (or 5LYTHRN if the first was taken) or H0RCRUX.

I just got my TB and plenum back from Maxbore. Bored out to 80mm. I'm so excited now. Just gotta send the whole plenum and runners out to get that work done and then on to the car! Hopefully this is all done within the next month. I really wanna get this installed and then drive down to SFR and get this all tuned up

Heck yea, sounds awesome. BK1 or BK2, 3.8L or 2.0T? Make sure to get some dyno sheet printouts when you go to SFR!

BK2 3.8.
Even after I get the upper and lower manifold worked on, nothing gets installed until I know exactly when I'm going to SFR. As much as the ECU can adjust for the intake changes I'm not confident it would adjust optimally for mid-long term driving. I figure install, make the 200mile drive, and all will be well.

Unfortunately I do not have the stock air box. When I bought it they had a cheap cone filter on the stock pipe. I do have the piping just not the box.

Got my K&N Intake today. I work for UPS so I got to get it first thing when I got off work this morning. Got it installed and went for a joyride. Really loud but I'm liking it. I didn't realize the intake removed the silencer but that works for me. I was considering removing it anyways. The install was fairly straight forward and easy. The only issue was the bolt connecting to the turbo. It was a weird angle but wasn't tightened too much so it came off pretty quickly. Anyways, the intake sounds good and looks great under the hood. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a louder intake and blowoff.
