I have a 2015 Gen Coupe Auto . Water also leaks down in my passenger wheel well and down my passenger rear pillar threw a seem in the body and I have also seen water in my trunk where spare is. I have recorded videos just have to upload them. The dealer keeps saying they fixed it but every time it rains it still leaks. My car is only at 30000. Hundyai has a big problem and is doing everything to avoid addressing the problem.

The fix for the water on foot well issue is so stupid of a fix, I'm shocked it really worked. But the only thing more shocking is when you check your Cabin air filter. Don't turn on your A/C till you replace it or it dries. That filter held back a lot the water from enter your car.
I'm sorry, can you expand on this? I must have missed the fix

No my car also does not have a sunroof. I went to dealer again they claimed water in trunk was tail lights so they replaced the seal behind them they also claim they replaced the seals going over the roof off car and down windshield because they' say it's worn. After 30000 miles give me a ****ing break. So they say they replaced the parts. Went home stuck a water hose on roof of car guess what happens. Water starts dripping in car in passenger foot well. But did not see water in trunk.so I'm ****ing furious about the front leak now at this point. That now I'm in contact with Hyundai consumer affairs.

Noticed the common "leaking into the tail light and into the spare tire area" this past week. (Purchased the car two weeks ago.)

Took off the rear tail light (left) and used electrical tape to create an "L" channel that connects the vertical gasket and the horizontal plastic portion of the housing, preventing the water from getting between the gasket (on the housing side) and the housing itself. I also made some layers of electrical tape on the opposite side of the gasket so there is more pressure applied to the gasket when tightened down against the body. Finally, layered electrical tape on the back side of the top portion of the tail light housing so it is harder for water to fall into the gap (between the body and the black plastic portion).

After a 3 hour rain this morning, I saw no new water where there previously was some. There will be plenty of chances this summer (in Korea) to see if this solution "holds water."~^^

Update (7/21/19):

After some heavy rains and the remnants of a tropical storm this weekend, there is not any water making its way into the tail light nor the floor of the trunk!
