Slider,

I was reading all over the Gencoupe forum that you are the king of 20" fitment. I have been doing some deep research before I pull the trigger on a setup that may require spacers and longer studs. I found an IMMACULATE set of 20's I want to throw on but the specs are a little off from the Genesis Coupe average Fitment. I used to run a square set of 18x9.75 +24 XXR 530's with 245/35/18 Rear and 235/35/18 in the front with 0 issues. Now I am looking at a square setup of 20x10 +33 with 225/35/20's all around. These wheels are going to be show wheels only since they are pretty pricey and will most likely see road time 1-2 times a month. My daily wheels are going to be the XXR's I previously mentioned. Now to cut to the chase since the optimal offset for the GC is +20 to +26ish on 19x9, do you think I will be able to run 20x10 (with the tire size mentioned above) all around with no rub on the coils? If not, how big of spacers will I need and will I need longer wheel studs?

Hi Slider

My cousin just bought a 2012 2.0T Base Manual in Nord Gray (his first car) and is thinking of saving up for some Charcoal Tenzo Type M's. He (like me) is totally unaware and lacking of any technical knowledge when it comes down to things like sizing, offset, etc.

Would like to ask some help in determining what the right size, offsets, etc. to get. We're aware that a rim and tire set would cost around $2,000 Canadian. We're guessing also that due to this budget, he's probably looking at 18" rims vs 19" rims.

No modifications are to be done on the stock car itself, so what he'd be looking for is a clean (preferably aggressive) look where there would be no real problems going over bumps, etc.

Thanks for the help!

I got msr 093 20x8.5 +24 20x10 +24 for my gc. Think you can help me find out what good tire sizes to put on them? It's currently not dropped yet I've only had it for about 3 weeks.

Well depending on if you go with the 20x11s, OEM ratio goes out the window cuz you're gonna have to stretch a tire on there to make it fit.

Send me a PM when you have more info.

So I am down to the Tenzo-R Type-M Version 2 in Matte Charcoal
- Staggered Set -
(2) 19x8.5 Tenzo Type-M Version 2 Matte Charcoal Racing Wheels
(2) 19x10 Tenzo Type-M Version 2 Matte Charcoal Racing Wheels Wheels
or Forgestar F14 in Piano Black 20"
or now Vertini Magic Matte Black in 20"
What do you think about the Vertini's?
VERTINI WHEELS

Would 20x9 up front and 20x11 work in the back? They don't list the offsets so I might have to call. What would be the tire size to duplicate OEM ratios? Thanks again!
